Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meal, including free products (pasta, sauces, tea/coffee etc). Big lounge area provides satellite TV and free wi-fi internet access.
Manager made up a new "law" and threw me out, refused to be civil
Reviewed By Jamesthenry2017Hostel managers in Russia range from the absolutely lovely to the laughably unfriendly, but this one was by far the worst out of two years of travelling in this country. She refused to accommodate me, coming up with a "law" that if I haven't registered my visa for three days, no one can register it any longer. I said that I know the law well enough and it doesn't require any further registration if I stay in a new city less than a week. Three days, she shouted. Even if it were so, I said, I only stayed two days in Moscow and there's no problem. She said that if they register me, they will get a huge fine. I told her that I understand their concern, and asked kindly if they could call another hostel and ask if there's a free room, seeing as I had no Internet connection, no sim card and it was freezing outside. She flew into a rage and screamed that no one will help me any more, I broke the law. I walked to another hostel, where the staff accommodated me happily and said that they would register my visa if needed, that is, if I stay longer than seven days. I suggest avoiding ID Hotel & Hostel if you don't want to find yourself in the street with your accommodation declined. Their behaviour is ridiculous, considering that you might even have spent three days on the train if you're coming from a further part of Russia, and the extra hostility was completely out of proportion. I speak fluent Russian, and I cannot see how you would even communicate with her otherwise.

Great central hostel
Reviewed By Amanda BMaxi house was such a nice hostel. It was clean, spacious, and the staff were so amazing. They were helpful finding banks/restaurants, and were a quick, effortless check in. I arrived early from the airport and they did not hesitate to let me have a bed. The kitchen and rooms are Great, and the whole place is colourful with a nice design.

Perfectly clean and chill place.
Reviewed By Sneaky NUsually you don't want to spend time in hostel while travelling, this hostel is an exception to the rule. Wish I could stay here for a couple nights more. It's superiorly clean, not a single guest was loud, staff is polite and friendly, so there's not even a single thing to be considered as a con. And beds, yeah, those are making you fall asleep even if you don't really want to.

Good place to stay
Reviewed By StevoPurcellI stayed here for 3 nights by myself. Very clean and quiet. The facilities are good by Russian hostel standards. The place is unfortunately far from the station and the town centre (a good 15-20 walk) and the staff speak only basic English. It is also a little bit hard to find in my opinion. Otherwise it is a very good option and I am happy to recommend it.

Spiti Hostel-comfortable hostel. For our guests: 10-bed room, 8-bed female room, standard double room, small double room, standard 3-bed room and family 4-bed room. We are 15 minutes from Adler railway station and the beach.

Reviewed By aditya528My 12 days of stay in Russia and I didn’t get a better place than Spiti Hostel to stay. My highest rating for this place – rooms were huge, bathrooms were clean – super clean. The hosts were very friendly and helped us with local places especially when language was a barrier. The place is not very far from the Airport or the railway station. The railway is almost on walking distance. Rooms were great for 3 people with one double bed and one single bed. Airconditioning was in place. Bathrooms were shared among other guests but that too wasn’t a deal-breaker. They have a shared space to sit and chill alongside the kitchen which is open for guests to use. My total recommendation for people to visit this place.

U Hostel is run by a young energetic team full of dedication and commitment. If you're coming to town for a holiday, to study or work this is the place for you. Our best prices, many free facilities and helpful staff present a fantastic value for money. We have a patio where you can find some peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but still be in the city centre. We are located in the centre of Astrakhan close to all the things you could ever possibly want to do in the city.. All major attractions like the Kremlin, the Opera and ballet Theatre, the Swan lake, the art gallery, the local central market are within walking distance. So it is a perfect starting point to explore the city.

Personnel is very helpful and welcoming, knowing that we were on our way from another city, offered to order pizza by our arrival so we could have some dinner. Stable internet connection and very close to some sightseeings and good cafes.
