Bar/Restaurant direkt am Strand von little Corn Island.
I was GRANDPAcking in Little Corn for 1 month.I alternated between the Beach Bar, Tranquillo, and Desideri for Happy Hours. The Beach Bar is actually on the beach.Their Happy beers (4pm to 7pm) are N$45.Their Happy cocktails area reasonably priced and they only use the better Flor de Cana rum.

Lat, Long Coords:12.282196, -82.977639Almost at the end of the town. Sit in colorful huts overlooking the water or in the atrium area on the other side of the island walkway.
Color View serves excellent seafood and very good pizzas. Their lobster with garlic is so good - served with coconut rice a small salad and a different side each night (fried taro, pumpkin, mashed potatoes, fries, plantain) all for around US$6. For breakfast try their lobster scrambled egg with coconut gallo pinto, coconut bread toasted, fruit and coffee ($3).The staff are friendly and welcoming. We often ate here twice a day over a couple of weeks. When we introduced people to the restaurant they would come back again.Great view over the bay, especially of sunset

We stopped for breakfast at the sunset shack on our last full day on Little Corn. I wish we had discovered it earlier, as it was so good we came back later that day for lunch! The owner, Radcliffe, is super friendly and interesting to talk to. The food is great quality and fairly priced, much more so than the more touristy places across the path. We were glad to support a local's business, rather than a restaurant owned by foreigners. When we ordered lobster for lunch Radcliffe was kind enough to cook it to our taste, rather than the typical overcooked style of the island (he told us his grandmother boils lobster for at least an hour!). The result was heavenly, a perfectly cooked lobster for around US$10, you can't beat that! Eat here, you won't regret it!

Of the seven years I have been coming to LCI I have always enjoyed this restaurant. Twillla and her husband have been cooking consistent delicious food and tasty drinks. We had a lobster and a fish ceviche to start off with and then grilled lobster all around. You really only need it grilled with the butter on the side. The sweetness is crazy. We actually went back a couple of nights later and had 3 lobster ceviches to start our evening right! Simple fresh food!

Miss Briggette's offers local good, specialties in seafoods, all heals are made with coconut Oil. With low prices for national or international tourists, attending in a familiar and confortable ambient.
Miss Bridgetâs is locally run restaurant and serves delicious, traditional island food, all cooked in homemade coconut oil. The lobster is divine and the fried chicken very tasty. The ceviche and rondon produces moans of pleasure from other diners, so must be good too. The plantain, served fried or as tostadas is delicious. Service is friendly and relaxed and always with a beautiful smile. Even if this place looks deserted, take a seat and food will be with you shortly. Best of all, your money goes towards supporting a local business. Enjoy a plateful of island happiness! This place is also great for breakfast or a late night beer.

Open for Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner, Tranquilo Cafe offers delicious and refreshing alternatives to the standard Central American "rice & beans" fare: Fresh Kingfish Ceviche, juicy Cheddar Cheeseburgers, catch-of-the-day Fish Tacos, marinated Chicken Fill
My boyfriend and I just got back from a trip to Nicaragua, and the Tranquilo Cafe on Little Corn Island was a great find! We enjoyed delicious drinks, great food, and live local music. It was so fun to see so many from the island there, as well as other travelers. Would recommend going on Wednesday nights for live music! Enjoy!

Much quieter then their neighbour Tranquilo's and far better service. Food was average and drinks were still fairly expensive... One huge positive was that they played WAYYY better music then Tranquilo's (ambient vs classic rock - nuff said!) which made for a far better (more relaxing) dining experience.

Turned Turtles casual, romantic, beach front atmosphere is a great place to eat and drink with family, friends or that special someone. Don't miss the opportunity to dine on a secluded beach and experience a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner with no re
We ate at the Turned Turtle several times during our visit! The food was fresh, delicious and the staff were VERY well trained (you can tell someone trained them to North American standards, in fact, they were the only ones that did a quality check). Be aware that the food is on the pricier side (but not as expensive as Darinia's). Definitely eat here!!

Darinia´s kitchen offer a humble home cook, here by Darinia´s kitchen you can found fresh food, tipical from(Costa Caribe) i also make, sushi, thai food, asian fusion, vegetarian, veggie, healty recepes make from myself(Darinia) Every one is very wellcome
The food was very good but the portions were VERY small. Definitely over priced (for Nicaragua and the Island) and not good value. The passion fruit cocktail was disgusting and the warm Watermelon desert was a huge disappointment. I know she mentioned that she doesn't like to cook with flour, but a more substantial dessert would have been nice! Add to the fact that the couple that was sitting next to us and had the exact same meal and number of drinks and were charged US$10 less then us (right in front of us - that's just bad business). There are better places to eat on the island with bigger portions and less cost! Don't get sucked into the hype!Thank you very much for your review! Am sorry that you getting dissopointm about my food. would be nice if you tell me in my face and for sure i will try to make better.
