Directly overlooking Fistral Beach, we are officially the highest rated 4 star Hotel in Newquay. Our award winning Fistral Spa is also the highest rated Spa in Cornwall on Tripadvisor. We are a fun, stylish and contemporary hotel with excellent rooms, food, facilities and service. But enough of our corporate blurb, just read our reviews, decide for yourself, then check in and chill out here at Fistral Beach Hotel and Spa.
Had a 2 night stay here. Lovely, comfortable hotel with a stunning location, looking right over the bay, and a few minutes from Fistral beach. Didn't have a seaview, but found room good size and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast, 1 of the best I've had. And a special mention to the staff; in all the dealings we had (reception, bar, restaurant) they were all really friendly and professional. exactly what you want for a relaxing stay. Many thanks, we will be back!

Family owned and run and set in 11 acres of private land within the boundaries of the Dartmoor National Park and within sight of Haytor Rocks. A choice of two dining options either in the main Restaurant or the Blue Tiger Inn with its large sun terrace and offering more informal dishes of excellent quality - served all day. Emphasis is on local produce and homemade creations. Lovely cream teas can be enjoyed in one of the comfortable lounges during the afternoon and a traditional Sunday Lunch each week. Beautiful luxury Spa opened in 2015 with hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room, fitness suite and indoor pool. Achieved Gold for Spa and Wellness Experience in South West Tourism's 2017 awards and Gold in VisitDevon Spa Awards for 2015, 2017 & 2019. Three treatment rooms also available offering a range of luxury treatments. Located in the Dartmoor National Park, yet only 4 miles from the A38 making Ilsington and ideal place for exploring South Devon. Included in the Good Hotel Guide.
We have stayed at The Ilsington Country House Hotel at least once a year since it first opened which is a testimony to how much we enjoy its beautiful surroundings, relaxed atmosphere, comfortable surroundings and excellent cuisine. It thoroughly deserves the AA Four Star Country House Hotel and the AA Two Rosettes for Culinary Excellence it has received in 2022. As a hotel it has all the qualities one would expect from a well run family hotel, not least a warm and friendly welcome. The awards it has received are a fitting tribute to the dedication of Richard Hassell and his team

We only stayed for one night and wished we had booked more, very attentive staff nothing was ever to much trouble and the attention to detail with children goes the extra mile. Food in the restaurant was amazing and great sized portions we will be back 100% the best hotel we have stayed in. And a huge shout out to Deborah on reception she accommodated us and our 18 month old very well see you all soon from the heavily pregnant couple and little boy ?

We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate our pre honeymoon and emailed ahead to ask for an upgrade . We was advised unfortunately there were no other rooms available but they had put down some rose petals and received a complimentary drink which made it felt special. So well done for taking down note. Lovely period hotel with a gorgeous outdoor pool area and close to everything. Staff are friendly, but our neighbors woke us at 2am with a loud tele so as he was ignoring our knock s ,I called to reception to ask for help to which they called but no answer . Person from night reception then went out of his way to come up and speak with tele person which solved the loud tele, so thank u very much. Food is excellent!! As well as the breakfast, suberp .Very good hotel , friendly staff, excellent pool area and good food only downside is the overdue bed , our stay was ruined somewhat with the lumpy uncomfortable bed so could not sleep much. Please look to get a new bed in room 222 and maybe could do with an decor update throughout, but apart from that great facilities, food and friendly staff

The Imperial Torquay is a 19th Century four-star hotel in a stunning cliff-top location on the English Riviera. Just a mile from Torquay train station, and 10 minutes walk from the town centre and its famous promenade, this Mediterranean-style hotel is a great base for exploring Devon and North Cornwall. Close by are sandy beaches, the Eden Project and Dartmoor National Park. After a day of exploring relax in the Health & Leisure Club then enjoy delicious food in the award-winning Regatta Restaurant.
So Disappointed not what I paid for £250, for one night ,to be put in basement with limited sea view. Had to go down 2 flights of stairs didn’t expect that. Breakfast was good, hotel was grand Bedroom was very small, not like pictures, I wanted a lovely luxury relaxing break this was not it. I had requested high floor sea view. I was told by reception that is was very busy weekend and in future to get a good deal book direct not with booking .com I had looked at the price and it was £40 more for the same room (hence booking .com) Would I go again yes to Torquay not to this hotel. Premier inn next time

The Beresford is situated in a superb position on the seafront, with marvellous views over Tolcarne Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. This hotel is ideally positioned for taking the short walk into Newquay’s bustling town centre or for taking in the stunning views of Cornwall’s rugged coastline. Many of the front facing rooms have superb views from the hotel’s cliff top position. The bar and ballroom provide pleasant surroundings in which to enjoy the entertainment and there are two comfortable lounges and a dedicated games area to enjoy. When the Atlantic swells roll in, our seafront conservatory is the perfect place to sit and watch the surfers take on the amazingly powerful waves!
Amazing place super location just on the beach and very friendly staff Especially Ben from reception and young man behind the bar Place super dog friendly really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely will be back if next time in Newqay

Situated in an elevated position overlooking Porthminster Beach, this welcoming hotel commands stunning views across the bay. St Ives is renowned for its fantastic beaches, picturesque harbour and bustling streets full of interesting boutique shops. St Ives Hotel is in a perfect location only a short walk to most holiday attractions. With open plan lounges to enjoy the views whilst listening to the evening’s entertainment, a break here is truly relaxing. A courtyard is open spring and summer for alfresco seating and you’ll be able to sample the wonderful light that has made St Ives such a mecca for painters and artists. For the more adventurous, St Ives makes a wonderful base for visiting many of Cornwall’s finest sights and attractions.
The biggest waste of £180. We are local to St Ives, but love to spend the odd night in St Ives and treat ourselves to a nice meal. We checked into this hotel, which has long seen better days. We paid our money and went to our room. We were shocked, it was badly decorated, windows dirty, no spoons, rubbish bathroom and no TV reception. I know this is a tourist hotspot, and expect higher prices, but this place is a joke. Don't stay here!

Situated in a quiet residential area of Torquay half a mile from the seafront, the Tor Park hotel is also within easy reach of the marina and the town centre’s shops, boutiques and restaurants. The hotel offers great facilities for you to enjoy and all the public areas are conveniently located on the ground floor. There are comfortable lounge areas in which to sit and relax in and the ever-popular sun terrace, which is a perfect place to unwind with a drink on a balmy summer’s eve! Inside, the entertainment suite has a dance floor and bar. The hotel is very popular for short breaks and prides itself on having many repeat customers year after year.
We had a 4 night break at the Tor Park Hotel which is situated approximately a mile from the town centre down a hill. The hotel is in a nice location, in Torre, a quiet area of Torquay and there is a train station a 5 minute walk away and a bus just across the road. The hotel is very nice, a bit dated but some rooms been refurbished. Everything is very clean and the rooms have tea and coffee facilities, hairdryer and a few products such as shampoo, shower gel etc. The rooms also have colour tv although the signal was a bid dodgy at times. The staff without exception, are very welcoming, helpful and pleasant and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast and evening meals are very good. There was entertainment for 3 of the 4 nights we were there and it was all very good. There is a decking area with tables and chairs. The train service from the nearby station is excellent and you can go as far as Exmouth one way and Paignton the other. Very reasonable prices. The bus runs every 12 minutes to Torquay, Brixham or to Newton Abbot the other way. We would recommend the hotel to anyone.

Situated on the level seafront of this hugely popular Victorian seaside resort stands the welcoming Dilkhusa Grand Hotel. The hotel was originally a private house, bought by a Raj at the turn of the last century as a gift to his wife - Dilkhusa translates from Hindustani roughly as ‘House of the Happy Heart!’ The hotel overlooks the picturesque Runnymede gardens and is close to the Landmark theatre which attracts many national acts. It is also just a short walk from the bustling 10th-century harbour where Britain’s most famous living artist, Damien Hirst, owns a restaurant. The Dilkhusa has a well-appointed restaurant combining excellent hospitality and service. A spacious and comfortable entertainments suite provides the ideal setting in which to sit back and enjoy the acts at this friendly and sociable hotel...
My party of 4 recently stayed at the hotel on a self drive basis. Yes, the Hotel is tired and parts need updating but we considered it value for money. The food was as expected - value for money BUT the Hotel exceeded all our expectations in terms of staff. All hospitality sectors currently seem short staffed nowadays but every member of staff we encountered was helpful, friendly, professional and complied with our requests. All seemed extremely busy but found time to talk and sometimes laugh with us. They deserve a special mention and our thanks.

Part of TLH Leisure Resort, this lovely 3 star hotel and Spa has an extensive range of indoor and outdoor leisure facilities including luxury spa, swimming pool, gym, fitness studio, bistro and games arena with entertainment on site. Ideal for couples and families. The hotel offers spa, health and fitness breaks and dancing holidays. Close to the sea front and town centre, it is ideally placed for exploring the English Riviera and beyond.
A group of 8 of us girls stayed here for the night and all I can say is EXCELLENT, value for money was incredible, staff AMAZING (especially Hannah on reception and pregnant lady for massages) couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating if they tried, rooms basic but very very clean (well done cleaners) evening meal was great and serving staff great, breakfast great albeit it a little hectic (not the staffs fault) entertainment out by the pool amazing, pool area clean and tidy and very relaxing, I stayed at a well knownTorquay hotel last week and was double the money for half the stuff we got at TLH, I honestly would recommend and revisit, so so impressed with this establishment I could ramble all day, Massive well done TLH Carlton
