While visiting my daughter and son-in-law in NJ we went over to the Dunellen Hotel on a snowy evening. We have been there several times and always been pleased. One of the specials that night was a stuffed pork chop that was the biggest thing I've ever seen. Three in our party opted for this and thought it was delicious. Only one was able to actually finish it. I was looking for comfort food and found it in a huge chicken parm dish. It was excellent. A great evening of good food and good conversation!

Great food, good service, overall good experience. A nice vegetarian place for dinner and weekend lunch.

We've dined at Carmen's countless times over the years - a cozy little restaurant with good Italian food. Gone almost unnoticed, however, are their take-out Family Dinners for 4.
They used to be called "Recession Busters" for good reason. These are complete dinners complete with appetizers, salads, bread and a main course over a bed of pasta. More than enough to feed our family of 4 with leftovers - all at a reasonable price.
Recently, we ordered both a Chicken Francaise and a Chicken Marsala pair of dinners for a small get together. Dinners were ready on time. Everyone enjoyed the selections.
TIP - these meals traveled well. We simply removed the plastic wrap under the aluminum top and reheated.
Tired of Chinese take-out? Give these Italian dinners a try. We were not disappointed.

Tastee’s subs are one of a kind their ingredients and fresh sub rolls are delicious. Great sub for game day or a picnic or just last minute choice on a Sunday night. If you’re looking for a great sub that is unique to the area pick Tastee’s!

This is an old fashioned family owned Italian restaurant and pizzeria. We shared a meal among the five of us that included the margherita pizza, penne vodka with chicken, eggplant rollatini, chicken rollatini, and eggplant parmigiana. Everything was excellent and the server, Sandy, was very friendly and attentive. It is also a BYOB. The prices are very reasonable, but they only take cash. I think we have just found our new favorite Italian restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Good food with a very helpful staff. The Dumplings are so light and airy the melt in you mouth. The chutneys and sauces are fresh accompaniments. The rice dishes are wonderful and if you can't decide what you want with you dinner they'll let you split your order. The chicken and lamb chop dinners are good choices. Dinners come with a small salad and soup. Usually there are leftovers for lunch. The piping hot fresh bread is amazing!

When I was told about this place, I had higher expectation. Fountainbleau is a very average mid level diner? Good service, simple decor, not creative menu.

We always have to get some pizza when back in NJ. I trusted TA reviews, as I didn't want to waste a meal on subpar pizza. We were very happy with Ciccio's. It's a casual family place with excellent pies (so common in NJ but so impossible to find elsewhere!). The prices are great (under $12 for cheese) and the staff was very friendly. We shared the house salad, also good. The only negative was the toasted "hamburger roll" served with the salad. I would leave the bread off or get some good Italian bread!

Food was excellent, service great and you can't get a better meal for the money. I took my narrow minded mother here and she really liked it. And that says a lot since she is so fussy!!! I would highly recommend giving it a try. The food is delicious and you will have plenty of leftovers to take home for later.
