While only 60 years ago South Korea was considered a developing country, it’s now one of Asia’s economic and cultural leaders. Super-chic Seoul combines modernism with ancient history; coastal Busan serves up rugged beach spots; and Jeju Island wows with volcanic landscapes and towering mountains.

Beautiful little hotel! Management was very sweet and helpful (English was limited- but they understood enough to help accommodate our requests and communicate clearly), location was great. While the hotel is a little out of the city, for us everything was still walking distance. We were able to visit the waterfalls and walk down to the springs. The area is absolutely gorgeous. Hotel was very clean and well maintained. Would recommend you get the bedroom with a sea view- the view from the balcony was breathtaking!

I and my friends arrived at this resort at midnight, it was new year night, and the staff there Mr. John was there in front desk, only for waiting for us, because his working time was over few hours before. He greated us nicely, with a very good english. (really appreciated it Mr. John). The view from our room is so amazing, and room also so spacious for 3 of us, completed with a good kitchen set and rice cooker. the best way to go to this resort is by rent a car, or by taxi, no public bus, but dont worry, the staff will help you to call taxi for your needs

- Prose 1. proximity to the Sokcho beach. 2. English speaking friendly staff 3. very clean rooms, good aircon, daily cleaning available upon request, quiet pension 4. free parking - Cons 1. Bushes need to be trimmed as they were covering the English sign so we could not find the hotel upon arrival at night. Overall, this was a good place for my wife and I for a last minute trip to Sokcho.

A lovely way to spend a few days on Jeju. The Accommodation is very Korean in style in that it has a low table and no knives and forks, with the mirrors at floor sitting level, but very nice and the picnic table outside on the veranda is more an adequate. (Western style shower room with toilet!) Well located on the island, but you do need a car to go anywhere. The staff were very helpful with enough English in case you do not have a Korean speaker with you. Local restaurants happy to come and pick you up and drop you back for an evening meal. Would definitely recommend.

We wanted a bit of luxury on Jeju Island before we headed back home but didnt want to spend a fortune as per the big brash Jungmun resort hotels (Which really are not that nice). Having looked at the photos we thought that the Dam and Roo looked amazing both from the pool and the rooms. Well that’s where the amazingness ends- the rooms are NOTHING like the photos. There are some plush family villas on site that clearly all of the bedroom photos are of. Onto the pool- this is nowhere near as plush as the photos suggest its quite dated and bland, not really appealing to sit around. A word of caution the hotel is up a windy track off the main road so I would suggest you would need a car to stay here. There is a great Korean BBQ at the foot of the road called the Black Ranch which is highly recommended great food!! Overall we were disappointed with the standard of the hotel and I did remonstrate with the hotel staff if we could have a nicer room but they said that all of the rooms are of equal quality to ours. We also didn’t get a balcony which was advertised and again the hotel were unwilling to move us or offer any compensation for this when I complained.

I stayed here for a night because of the Copany Workshop. We did some biz review then went out for dinner. After I came back to my room, I just went to sleep. I felt strage around my right leg side while I was asleep. Work up then looked around. I saw wet blanket & sheet. There was a leak from the air conditioner installed right above my bed. Couldn't turn it off either. So, I came out to sleep at the living room for rest of the night. Room set up is okay. I had a good view of golf course. Didn't have chance to look around in the resort. If you are going to golf there, it ain't to bad.

Jubilee is located in the area which is well known for its breath taking view and well kept nature. Jubilee provides ocean-view from all rooms with complete separate housing units that guarantee the utmost privacy. Also the environmentally friendly buildings alongside palm trees around the year, there are numerous seasonal activities such as sea fishing, scuba diving, hang-gliding, and golfing.
stayed 3 nights and saw two cockroachs running around. first one was going up against the kitchen side wall and another one was found on the floor next day. and the bedding had smeared spots also. smelly towels too. the only good thing about this place was that its owner was very friendly. The location was also not quite convenient to find the way to it. the dogs in the yard were cute.
