We stayed at Grand Hyatt nearby and was recommended this place by concierge. Itâs located a block off of the popular Itaewon street with lots of other INTL food options. Ordered the bulgogi along w few bbq meat plates. The food was decent and service was prompt. 3 stars because everything was just average - food, service, and price. There are other better options right next to it for better price and quality such as Busan Galbi.

Best Korean Authentic beef barbeque restaurant in Myeong-dong Area. Picked by MICHELIN 2017 and 2018.
This is a restaurant located in a tourist area with English-language menu and marketed to tourists. Itâs to be expected some customers may not be familiar with Korean food. Our waitress was rude and wasted no opportunity to talk back when asked about something. Food was good though. Wishing you good luck with the service.

Brisket was decent. It was decent. However, the ribs were dry and it felt like it had been reheated many times before being served to us. The portions were Korean sized, so 3 person meal will feed 2. Soft drinks were over priced at 4,000 won.

This shop is very unique in Seoul, often appears in dramas. Beef is very expensive in Korea but this BBQ shop really value for money. Be prepared: As you will stand to queue and eat, better wear a pair of comfortable shoes. And you may need to buy drinks and instant rice at convenient stores.ä¸è¨åº§ä½ççèæçç¤åºï¼ä»¥å¤§éµæ¡¶ä½é¤æ¡å ç¤ç¤ï¼ä»¥äººé è¨ç®æ¯ä»½èæè¬äºéå ï¼ééè¾£é¬ã大èçæ²¾é¬åéè¾£æ¤ãçºåççæåºå¹é¢æ¥è¿ä¸åï¼ç¶ç¶ç¼ºé»æç«å¾è¼ç´¯ï¼åºå¡ä¹æä¾éç«ãç¤èï¼çµä¸å ä½å¹æ ¼èæ¸æåãå é種æ°ç©æ½®ååå¹å»ç©ç¾ï¼æ©å·²è²å大åªï¼å¦åæ¥ä¾éè¦å¨éå¤æéçåãTIPS: 1. åºå §åªè³£ä¸æ¬¾é£ç©å°±æ¯çï¼å¦æ³å 飯æ泡èçå¯å¸¶åï¼ææ¹ä¾¿æ¯éè¿ä¾¿å©åºçè çè£é£¯ã2. åºå §çç¤æ°£å³å¾éï¼æä¾å¤§è è¢çµ¦å®¢äººæ¾æè¢è¡£ç©ï¼ä½å¦ç©åç¹å¤çï¼æ好èªè¡å¸¶å大åè è¢ï¼æçµå°å£ä»¥é²å¸å³ã

Braai Republic serves South African home-style cooking, focusing on our own homemade sausages including boerewors, lamb chops and freshly-baked meat pies. Kitchen hours: (Monday 5PM) (Tuesday to Sunday 12PM - 9PM) Atmosphere: Open kitchen and Casual Tip:
Decided I wanted to experience a little piece of home one night and made my way to Braai Republic. Firstly, we waited for about 15 minutes for a menu. We had to ask for menus. Secondly, we waited another 20 minutes for some service but did not get any. Waitresses repeatedly looked me in my eye and ignored me while serving the people around me. I eventually got up and left, walked right passed them and they never bothered to stop me and ask me what was wrong. I'm not sure why we got treated like this, but I really hope Braai Republic staff catch a wake up because I actually support South African businesses around the world and want the best for them. As a South African living and working in South Korea, I am utterly disappointed in Braai Republic.Hi there! We received a very similar review for Pyeongtaek on the same day. Did you go to Pyeongtaek or Itaewon? This is a very serious issue for us and we would like to find out more. Please email us at [email protected] if you went to Itaewon, or at [email protected] if you went to Pyeongtaek. We look forward to hearing from you!Sincerely,Chris Truter

We want to give you amazing experience Best quality and service Beef and Pork Choigozip Hongdae English,Japanese,Chinese menu with pics
We were recommended by friends to come here. Very easy to find as it is near exit 1 of the Hongik station. The BBQ pork and beef are delicious. Very well marinated and tasty. Price is also reasonable. Easy to cook over the bbq plate & stove. Perfect and complete with a soju.

This place is not conveniently located, not even around tourist attractions. It is in Gangnam area, near Yeoksam station. However, it was worth the trip as the food was really good & we even went there twice! The marinated lamb was seriously good & tender, not so for the marinated chicken. The staff was prompt in serving us and also helping us to cook the meat. Please ensure Yang Good restaurant to be in the itinerary the next time u visit Seoul!~

REASON FOR VISIT: we found this place through TripAdvisor as it was ranked #1 in Seoul as we visited and although it is good, it's definitely not the best restaurant in Seoul. TripAdvisor is clearly not very used in South Korea... FOODSo this is a Korean BBQ experience and as far as it comes, it was pretty tasty. However, they served PORK ONLY in this place which is a shame. Furthermore, the waiters actually cook the meat for you which we preferred but perhaps others would prefer to cook it themselves. We took two different types of pork, pork belly and pork shoulder which were both great. You get lots of small little dips that come along with the BBQ so it is unnecessary to order any side dish in my opinion. STAFF/SERVICEThey didn't speak English but were as helpful as they could be with different signs. The service was speedy which was nice. ATMOSPHERE/LOCATIONDefinitely needed to pre-load the maps to get to this small street restaurant. The atmosphere was ok, there was a few foreigners in the restaurant and a few locals. CONCLUSION: I RECOMMEND BUT WOULD NOT RETURN AS THERE MUST BE OTHER KOREAN BBQ THAT ARE BETTER AND HAVE WIDER OFFERINGSHello, this is Palo Sam. Thank you very much for using our Pal Osam and we will provide you with services and food that will not change. Thank you.
