I can't say this is the "bomb" although you might not be able to tell since the place was packed along with a long waiting list. Salt Lake City must be starved for sushi. We made an OpenTable reservation and still waited 30 min to be seated. Sushi was "meh". I am spoiled...but the prices and the wait did not equate to justifying the cons. Keep looking my friends. There's bound to be some Buddist converted Mormon, Japanese Sushi Chefs out there somewhere.

The restaurant's namesake, Penny Ann, and her sister, Cindy, can often be found seating patrons, serving tables or chatting pleasantly with the restaurant's regular customers. Penny's brother Warren is the executive Chef and brother Paul is behind the scenes helping with day to day operations. Wayne and Jane, the parents of the bunch, can often be seen around too helping with all aspects of the business. There are also many nieces and nephews who help cook, prep, serve and bus tables as well as the outstanding staff who feel like family. Originally from upstate New York, the Willey family prides itself on creating the east coast diner family atmosphere where guests can feel comfortable, and relax while they indulge in homemade comfort food. Originally from New York, Warren was a chef there before coming to Utah. After the move, he was a chef at Park City's Westgate Grill for 10 years before the family decided to open Penny Ann's. In June of 2011, Penny Ann's opened its doors in downtown Salt Lake City, and had almost instant popularity. After three years in the downtown site, the family decided to open another location and opened in Draper in December of 2014 and are looking at future expansion in the coming months and years.
The pancakes really were outstanding—better than I've had in quite some time. My wife had the french toast sandwich, which was unique and bursting with flavor. Bacon was fantastic. Coffee was surprisingly only fair. A great variety of options on the menu. Typical atmosphere for...MoreThank you for taking the time to write a wonderful review. Nothing cures my rice and bean craving like Salsa Leedos. I’m never disappointed in the food or drinks. Get a side of queso with everything, you’ll thank me later! Also, they’re always having some type of deal going on- Thirsty Thursday’s, What’s your Name Wednesday,...MoreSuch a nice review of our establishment. Thank you for pointing things out that we do. We are glad to have guests like you and we also give you five stars! See ya soon!

This was our first visit to Kneader's for breakfast. Everyone in our party ordered the all you can eat french toast. The pieces and huge and most of us only had the first plate that was brought to us. You do have to go to the counter to place additional orders, but then they bring it out to you. The syrup that comes with it is really good, but it would be nice to have another choice.

Eating at Bombay House is about much more than just food. It is a complete cultural submersion for all five of your senses. The rich aroma of exotic spices; the rhythms and songs of an ancient culture; warm, intimate lighting; vibrant murals portraying scenes from Indian life and legend; oven-toasted flat bread warming your fingers as you tear a piece to eat; the exquisite flavor of sumptuous food cooked to perfection and served with the same care and courtesy extended to family and guests of the highest honor. Bombay House is about providing you with a truly exceptional experience.
Just went here tonight as we are on or way out to Cali and are spending a night in West Jordan. We were walking around the shopping area looking for a place to eat and didn't want to eat at a chain. Saw this place and decided to try it. Glad we did! Sorry we don't live here as we would return often. Service was wonderful as was the food. Prices very reasonable. We had Samosas and garlic naan, lamb curry and Baygan Bharta (eggplant). It all came with white rice. They also have restaurants in Provo and SLC.

We were looking for a restaurant near the soccer stadium on a trip to SLC, and Trip Advisor steered us to Tiburon. We are very glad that it did. A wonderful little converted home, with a garden in the back, and a very nice patio (although in 100+ degree heat we stayed inside). The food is plated in a bit of a dated fashion, sort of reminiscent of the 90's, but tasted great. The compound butter they bring with the bread that has a hint of shallot, a hint of honey and all sorts of other stuff is amazing. And we were very impressed with the staff who were just wonderful to us. It is more than a bit pricey, but overall a wonderful experience, thanks!

Texas Roadhouse is a steak restaurant providing legendary food with legendary service. Texas Roadhouse specializes in hand-cut steaks, fresh-baked bread, fall-off-the-bone-ribs, and made-from-scratch sides. We also serve ice cold beer and legendary margaritas. Treat your family and friends to a night at Texas Roadhouse.
We were looking for a great place to celebrate the upcoming New Year, and chose Texas Roadhouse because it was highly rated. Happily, it turned out to be a great choice! Our waiter was helpful and speedy. Because we had never been there before, the manager came to our table and offered us a free appetizer, their delicious onion blossom. I loved the choice of sides, which included the choice of a Caesar or house salad. I chose the house salad as one of my sides, and it was not only good but good-sized. The rolls served with cinnamon butter were freshly-baked and delicious. When the main dish came, I was practically full, which was great, because I ate as much as I wanted and then took the rest home for another meal. I ordered prime rib, and it was fantastic! As good as any prime rib in a high-priced restaurant, and it was under $20 (lunch prices). I will definitely be going back. A nice way to usher in the New Year!

We had the Pulled pork, boneless chicken, brisket & ribs. The pork , beef & ribs were the best. Next time I will get bone in chicken. I got the potatoe salad and didn't like it, it had some green Wierd stuff in it! My husband got the garlic mashed potatoes, they were good. They were out of rolls at 7:00 on a Friday night, so they gave me a hamburger bun, I made a Pulled pork sandwich, it was good. I would go here again.

I have eaten here a few times and can say that it has some really great menu items. My favorite on is the brisket. The serving size is not to big but for the price it is fair. The restaurant inside is very well laid out. It does not seem to be as noisy as other establishments like this. The service is really great and seats are padded. Nice place to eat.

There is just something about the Village Baker that I love. The ingredients they use in their chicken and tuna salad sandwiches are so fresh and light, and the bread is great. I am quite fond of the vegie with provolone on sourdough, my husband loves the chicken wild rice soup. Service is prompt and friendly. Really great!
