After completing Lord of the Rungs waterfall hike we were starving and headed to the Spice Room for dinner. What a great experience! So many gluten free/dairy free options. We had the place pretty much to ourselves because we were early diners, and the service was outstanding and the flavors amazing. You canât go wrong with any curry dish and we also tried the special which was a very unique lamb dish. The flavors were bursting through the food and we left stuffed. Highly recommend while in Wanaka!

Went here recently with a large group of people. Service was excellent considering all the people and different orders. Everything arrived quickly and nothing wrong!The food itself was great - I had the chicken burrito which was really tasty.Also a bit of fun with the sombreros on the table!Would definitely recommend if you're in Wanaka.

Visited this restaurant on a 1st table sitting nice atmosphere with very good service we had a 3 yr old with us and our waitress was super with him keeping him amused and occupied while we enjoyed our meal. The food was very good though we were disappointed with the pork belly as we had better elsewhere everything else was very enjoyable. When back in Wanaka I will definitely eat here againThanks for your comments. We are glad you enjoyed dining at Jack Rabbit. We are all about families and having a relaxed dining experience.

We had an overnighter at the Wanaka Hotel and the Bulluck Bar restaurant forms part of that hotel.The menu was OK, not too big to confuse you but just the right size to make a good decision on what to eat. The food was bar/bistro oriented and was well presented and plentiful. Service was very good and because we dined at the hotel a couple of complimentary drink vouchers were included.Price was reasonable, food was very nice and the complimentary drinks were thirst quenching.Highly recommended, particularly the hotel accommodation which was very good and reasonably priced.
