There are quite a few restaurants around the country doing the Asian fusion thing, and we've enjoyed a lot of them. But none compare to what we experienced last night. This restaurant is awesome, the food is amazing, and the service is friendly and professional. The quality of each dish was superb, and the serving size was also generous. Can not recommend highly enough, and can't wait to head back there on our next visit to Christchurch.

Pot Sticker Dumpling Bar

At Pot Sticker we're on a mission to make people as mad about dumplings as we are. All we care about is creating legendary, world class dumplings that blow people's minds. Some say this is an unhealthy relationship with these little potstickers - maybe, b

We were craving dumplings so looked this place up while visiting Christchurch. The food was easy to order and arrived quickly. All the dumplings, steamed and fried, were well cooked. Most of the fillings were delicious. We found the chicken dumpling a little bland but the rest were very good. The buns were also a little too bready to our taste. We had the assorted dumplings, the buns and dim sum.

Wok On In

From being one of our favourite places to visit for authentic Asian dishes, our last two visits have left us extremely disappointed. On the first occasion we noticed that the meals we were served lacked the usual intense flavours we have enjoyed here for years and we came away with the perception that the meal size was less than normal for both our meals. We left it a few weeks and then returned. This time, I took more particular notice. What I experienced was that, again, our meals lacked the superior flavours of old, and also, our meals were much smaller than the meals that were being served to all the other customers who happened to all be of Asian appearance.Hopefully, that was only a sad coincidence. One day, when we are again over that side of the city, no doubt we will try it again. Who knows? Maybe third time lucky! If it is back to previous long-term best, I will surely post again a more positive review.
