Stopped in Sunday morning (7/14/19) to get a bite to eat with my wife. We ordered coffee and a meal. Coffee arrived and then we waited for over 30min for our food, which was never served. Not once did the server check on us. 3 or 4 different tables were served that arrived well after us. I noticed a meal that looked like ours on the back countertop of their kitchen getting cold for the last 10minutes before we finally got fed up, paid for the coffee, headed down the street to another café.Dear D. Buran, I am very sorry to hear that had a very bad experience. Thanks for sharing it with us. We are doing our utmost best to serve every guest in the best way possible which has not been done during your visit. 30 minutes indeed is way too long. We will share your review with our employees so they can learn from it.Kind regards,Jasper

Excellent local cozy restaurant. Lots of energy, great background music, warm sweet staff and nice tasty food. Make a reservation the space is not large and many people with no reservation were turned away. Oh, fresh squeezed orange juice is also available, what a treat in a more bar like hip setting. Thanks for your lovely review! Much appreciated, on behalf of all of our team members! Cheers, Team Walter Benedict

Brasserie Mauritshuis

We enjoy stopping by Brasserie Mauritshuis after viewing the Netherlandish masterpieces at the Mauritshuis. This is a very nice museum cafe with nice cakes, coffee & tea. Opening hour are 12.30 to 6.30pm (Mondays), 9.30am to 6.30pm (Tuesday to Sunday) with extended hours to 8.30pm on Thursdays. We particularly like the Hazelnut Cream Cake from Maison Kelder. This is a light, delicious cake that you can only find in Den Haag. Traditional Dutch apple pie is also good here. Coffees served up have been really good as well. Atmosphere is nice at Brasserie Mauritshuis and service is friendly and timely.
