We had diner her last weekend with a group of 12 people, among some 7 kids. The location and atmosphere was great at the inner harbour of Woudrichem. Also the interior of the restaurant has a good vibe ("gezellig" as one would say in Dutch). The service and good were also fine. So really a place to recommend for a nice diner!

Nice place and covered outdoor terrace, okay food. But extremely low on service. Takes long before they bring your order and /or the menu card. Got drinks after weâve finished our lunch. The place is beautiful but if the staff just can go extra mile, much more to achieve for this place. A pitty to be honest. Maybe next tome better as the staff was friendly.

That's the restaurant's slogan, and it is true.Nice atmoshere, indoors and at the well sheltered terrace. Good kitchen. You may feel at home after several visits.

The corner table offered a great view of river traffic and the locke. The restaurant is elegant and conversation was easy to hear. The menu, Dutch, wasn't all that appealing to us, but maybe that's just us. I had turbot, which was meh and pretty expensive (34 euros); another in our party had "ossenhaas 210 gm" (beef), also failed to impress. One of us had a 3 course chef's choice: 1st course was steak tartare, next was rare lamb and dessert was a plate full of a variety of sweet treats. Service was excellent and so was the setting, but overall it was pretty expensive for food we didn't love.

Absolutely loved this restaurant, from the minute we walked in we were treated like royalty. Amazing staff, you can really see they take their job seriously and are more than happy to help translate the menu. The food was out of this world, the best muscles and prawns I've ever had! This is in a great location in the town center in the square and the place itself is nice and clean and tidy.I would defiantly return to this restaurant.

In the Brasserie you can go for an extensive High Tea, a cup of coffee with fresh pastries and a festive lunch or dinner all week, with the exception of Monday. When visiting us just for drinks? Choose from our Snack&Bites menu, small bites to share!
Perfect setting for summer dining, this room has lovely views over the river with a deck for outdoor use when the weather is good. All the dishes chosen by our group looked and tasted wonderful, especially the Tuna starter and the Cod main course which were beautifully cooked and presented.Service is both friendly and prompt and the staff in general are an asset to the business particularly in the care they took to explain the dishes also in English. Price/quality ratio was very good. A lovely spot for dinner....would highly recommend.

We were there with friends one of the Friday meetings. It is located on the market square, between the train station and the little harbour. And there is a museum right opposite the restaurant. It was easy to choose from the lunch menu, service was quick and friendly. The prices are affordable. In short, all you expect from a restaurant.

Very nice restaurant, with lovely food and great service.
The hotel is very nice. Small but comfortable rooms with good size windows to open to get fresh air. The bed is comfortable and the bathrooms clean. The service is very nice and of course the location is great being right downtown The restaurant is very good. Beautiful space and the food is very good!

We had dinner here with 6 collegues. Started with bruschetta; fresh, tasty, crisp and well seasoned. Large protion, so don't order much if you are going to have pizza afterwards!! Pasta vongole, pizza calzone and pizza ansjovis were very well and fresh. Great taste, big portions and steaming hot!!! Very good Ripasso Valpolicella alongside made it a perfect dinner. Owner is very attentive and friendly as well as his staff. Small restaurant (capacity max 18 seating) and also take away. Amazing to see how this all works perfectly in such a small venue. We will frequently visit it !!! Don't forget to make reservations, otherwise you run the risk of having to take your order with you :))
Where to eat European food in Gorinchem: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I was treated to a meal by friends last night and I have no hesitation whatsoever on recommending this lovely restaurant.Tasteful and light interior, spic and span, one could almost eat off the floor. The meal (Chef's mixed grill) was absolutely superb, as was the Retsina to accompany it. The liver and onion starter was equally delicious.Staff were very friendly and helpful, full of Greek charm. Another feature of this restaurant, that's if you're lucky enough to get a window table, is the view onto the marina and the picturesque houses across the canal. All in all I was very impressed by this restaurant and I strongly recommend a visit
