If you like authentic and fresh Italian food, you should visit this place. Very friendly and personal attention, and most importantly the food is exceptionally good. Most Italian restaurants in Holland should take an example to this restaurant.

Ristorante Pizzeria Karalis is renowned in Leiden and surroundings since 1977. Our menu represents classical Italian dishes, with a strong accent on the island of Sardinia, where we have our roots. Divided over 3 separate rooms we have space for over 200
On a recent visit to Leiden university, our large group went here for dinner after getting some recommendations. With there being so many of us, we didn't bother with starters. Most of us had pizza. I meant to order the ortolana but ended up ordering the one above as it's name ran over onto the next line. This was the rucola pomodoro & parmigiano. It was very nice anyway and gave my first time trying a pizza with 'non oven-baked' ingredients. One that didn't go down well in our group was the Papps e citti - ham, onions, asparagus, olives. It was dripping with oil. Far too greasy. We didn't get pudding as we blew the budget on cocktails - I recommend the 'Hugo!' Although some of the puddings we saw being taken to other tables did make us regret our decision!I'd recommend this place if you're looking for proper Italian food in Leiden - very authentic!

At Pavarotti we make fresh pizza dough every day. The pizza dough lets us rise for 24 hours, giving it the best quality. The pizza dough is made from pizza, water, yeast, olive oil and a pinch of salt. Pavarotti uses only the best ingredients to invest th
Had lunch here with some friends whilst shopping in the area. The prices are average and the pizzas are really good. Service was also good and the decor is relaxing, particularly the internal yard, which can become noisy at times. On the whole, quite a good place to enjoy a pizza!Be advised that this restaurant DOES NOT ACCEPT CASH!!Dear John, thank you for your positive review! We hope to see you soon in Pavarotti Zoetermeer!

Mamma Maria is situated in the city center of Zoetermeer. The restaurant has a modern but warm look. Restaurant is very clean. Service was excellent.I ordered a glass of prosecco, but the prosecco had lost all it's life...it was flat, no nice bubbles there...As a starter we had the carpaccio and the vitello tonato. Very fresh and tasty. For our main course we ordered a pizza and a Tortellini burro e salvia. The pizza was very fresh, the pasta unfortunately was a bit on the chewy/dry side but it tasted okay. The prices at mamma Maria are very friendly. I would definitely go here again.

There is a lot of space inside. Very big choice of food. You get 2.5 hours to eat all you can. You walk to the buffet and you can get everything you want as much as you want ( sushi, freshly baked steaks , etc.).Personnel walks around to get your plates away from the table.Clean. A bit dark inside. Many people and a bit noisy.

Good (but not great) Italian food in an uninspiring restaurant. Interior needs some TLC (certain parts near the kitchen and toilets even look a bit 'tired').However, this is more than compensated by the friendliness of Donati's young, inexperienced but attentive staff. Donati's other main asset is certainly its terrace - so let's hope for some Italian-style summer days!
