eetcafe dat boven dit niveau uitstijgt. Kunnen grote groepen goed aan. Niveau constant bij diverse bezoeken
We visited here a couple of times while in Vlaardingen, it was always busy and the service very efficient usually by an overworked barmaid. We only ate snacks here, something called bitterballen, which i think is some kind of meat gravy fried in batter then you dip them in a mustard sauce. The Dutch do like to fry things.Nice bar next to a church, you can sit outside too, recommended.

I've never come across so many different types of pancakes! This may not be so unusual in Holland, but it was new to us. We were in a large group, so it was a challenge for staff to get us all fed and watered, but all things considered, they did pretty well. It was a warmish Sunday afternoon so it was a popular venue with its lovely outside sitting area. It caters well for families with a childrens activity area, and there are different eating areas inside as well as out. The pancakes were pretty yummy, and we shared a desert of 3 different types of icecream including a fruit sorbet which was delicious. Pancakes were round about 10 euro and for what you got, quite filling and good value. Highly recommended; walk it off with a walk around the adjacent park!
Top !

A really great and friendly Beer place with good food.8 different beers from draft and innumerous in bottle. For every mood you're in, they'll serve you the best beers tto go with it. The owner (An)Ton(ius) really loves gis job and knows his beers. He searches for the best and smallest brewers and put their beer on draft. This changes often. His serving personel is friendly and courteous. The food is OK and good value for money. Go, drink and eat. You will have a good time!

Very good restaurant in Vlaardingen! We had to wait 20 minutes before we could get a table, but that was fine as the atmosphere is good. Food is delicious, service very friendly and efficient. Prices very reasonable. We will definitely return!

Betaald parkeren vlakbij.

Enjoyed an excellent breakfast buffet (loads of choice, hot and cold, sweet and savoury) overlooking the shipping lane and harbour. We also had a tasty casual dinner. Lovely smiley, friendly staff. Very relaxing in this popular and very busy riverside restaurant. Good prices.

Fantastic food, great service, friendly hosts, beautiful setting by the river. I was in Schiedam for 2 nights and found this windmill place on the first night just as they were shutting. They stayed open so that I could enjoy a super meal of Dover sole. I was so impressed I came back the next night to try more. They were spot on with my monkfish and scallops and lobster bisque. All this while watching the ducks fishing for dinner.

We started both with a wild bouillon which was served with a bit of tartare of dear filet. Never had such a nice bouillon. Then we had dear filet and wild boar. Both cooked to perfection, tender with some veges superbly arranged. Again I come back when I am in Schiedam. Service very friendly and acceptable prices for a haut cuisine kitchen. Including a few glasses of wine we payed 90 Euro.Just some minor comments: serve the amuses with the aperative and not just before you get the first course
