Reviews on Steakhouse food in Rapid City, South Dakota, United States. Rapid City has long been considered one of the gateways to the West, and its rich cowboy and Native American heritage is the result. Visitors won't want to miss the area's mammoth outdoor sculptures. There's Mount Rushmore, of course, but work also continues on the nearby Crazy Horse Memorial, which will be the largest sculpture in the world when it is finally completed years down the line. Among the many local attractions are the scenic Black Hills, several nearby cavern systems that offer guided tours and the South Dakota Air and Space Museum.

Just realized that I have never given credit where credit is due. We've eaten at this fine establishment for years but usually only think to review places away from home. Eating their fine prime rib last night made me realize the injustice I've done them. Their food is always great. Their wait staff is beyond compare. If you haven't eaten there, you are missing a great dining experience.

Ordered appetizers - mushrooms and grilled shrimp. Entrees were steak and coconut shrimp combination and grilled chicken with loaded potatoes. Food was excellent. Not enough staff. One guy worked the bar; took the orders, and cleared the tables. He was fast, friendly, and efficient but too much for him to do during lunch time.

Excellent place for good steak! New in town but they seem to be doing good. Friendly people an good service.
Waiting for a table in the waiting area with six other couples/families to be seated. Not so bad but for the fact there was half the restaurant that had tables/booths visible and available to all of us. Service was less than prompt, the three of us in my party ordered off the menu and we waited, and waited, and waited some more. Somewhere in there we did get a stale loaf of their bread to eat. We waited some more, you get the drift. The meals were finally delivered to our table, a French dip sandwich, that was overly dry and served with no au jus to dip it in. A steak that was served cold, along with a huge baked potato that was, you guessed it, served cold. My steak was served cold as well, along with the two sides. I got the servers attention, and she gave me a pointer finger up signal to wait. I brought the steaks condition to her attention, she offered to have it warmed up for me, which I accepted. Only when I got it back it had obviously been microwaved, because it was now dryer than when I first got it at the table. This was our second visit to a Longhorn Steakhouse, our first being the location in Chicago, that visit went as well as this location. Never again......

I am a big fan of Cioppino and when a friend recommended this restaurant to me during our visit to South Dakota, that was the first thing on their internet menu I noticed.Let me start off by saying our waitress Michelle was outstanding. She was energetic, enthusiastic, knew what the restaurant served well, and gave us honest opinions about what to order. I, of course, ordered the cioppino and it was superb! Fish, mussels, clams, shrimp, scallops, in a frothy tomato broth. I loved it My wife asked Michelle about the angry salmon and she highly recommended it. My wife loved it! Then for dessert, my wife asked Michelle about the lemon cake and she told us it was her favorite. My wife ordered it and it became her favorite too.We had a great dining experience here and highly recommend it. If the rest of the staff is anything like Michelle, you will have a great dining experience here.We very much appreciate your taking the time to review Stonewalls!! We are so glad you chose to visit, and hope you'll stop again next time you pass through the area :)

My wife and I won a gift card to Minervas. The food was excellent and flavorful. The Atmosphere is quite and relaxing. The over all cost was reasonable. If you don't mind spending $40 for a couples night out, this is the place.

We"ve always believed that dining should be a social occasion, a time when friends, family, and coworkers can enjoy great conversation over a great meal. We believe in supporting our local artisans and staying connected to our Black Hills community. At a
Looking for a nice sit down steak house that is a cut above, look no further than Dakota. The service was spot on, the steak was divine (cooked in a broiler), and the crem brûlée was a must have. This is definitely a place to come back again and again.

Great customer service. The place was crowded in a friendly atmosphere. The menu is very diverse and the food tastes excellent. This steakhouse reminded me and my family âOutback Steakhouseâ. The price is decent. And with that wonderful attention, they sure have my tips. I recommend it.

Established in 2007 and the concept of Pete Franklin, Delmonico Grill brings a jazzy metropolitan feel to our small city. Escape from your busy day with great food, fun atmosphere and good service!
We spent 10 days in Rapid City and were consistently disappointed by the restaurants. Our final disappointment was lunch at Delmonico Grill.Steak tartare was ok. The toast served with it was very tasty. The best part of the meal was my ahi tuna salad with arugula, pepper slices, snap peas and spicy cashews. The tuna was fresh, unlike at the restaurant across the street. However, for $19 I expected more than 5 tiny square pieces. My husband's prime rib sandwich was poor. I would say it was a hot mess, but it was more of a cold mess. He asked for medium rare, and our server said nothing. The small portion of roast beef at the bottom of the sandwich was well done and fatty. On top of the beef were tiny fries and on top of the fries gloppy cheese. The kitchen seemed to be taking a long time to get food out. We had to ask our server for napkins. This place seemed pricey for what we got and a bit full of itself. After lunch, we headed for the airport. No more disappointing meals in Rapid City!
