This destination is a great downtown neighborhood location. Artists share their works on the walls, fresh roasted coffee is available, and you will see a little of everyone come in and out through the day.Watch your step, the wood floors are old and charming. During college days, this is a college-age study location.

Went for family birthday meal. They have widest variety of burgers...excellent burgers and a birthday treat besides! One of my favorite places to eat in Brookings.

I love any place that serves breakfast all day. Perkins is a great place that isn't expensive and feeds you well.

Gourmet cuisine / full bar with handcrafted cocktails / great place to hang out / located across from the Children's Museum of South Dakota
The burgers are great. We had the mushroom blue cheese burger and the chicken fried sandwich. Each come with sliced fried potatoes. The chips and corn bean salsa are a very good appetizer and they will refill your chips if you ask. TVs in the bar area usually with sports on. Upscale bar and atmosphere. They do have gift cards for purchase. Restrooms available.

Unlike most restaurants, Craft Italian-American Fusion is committed to using Brookings' freshest, homegrown ingredients to execute elegantly handcrafted dishes. Our passion is to ensure our guests have a culinary experience that is as fresh and authentic
My teenage daughter and I dined here on a busy Saturday night before a show. The host and waitress were excellent, offering to "seat us elsewhere" or "bring us something different" if we didn't like our table or our food. I ordered the pesto pasta and my daughter the black and white fettuccine alfredo. Daughter isn't a very adventurous eater and was worried about the black garlic and white truffle ingredients in the alfredo. The flavors were appropriately subtle, however, and she devoured every bite - even though she is typically a light eater with leftovers. I added shrimp to the pesto and it was cooked perfectly. Thank you for a delightful experience!

Established in 1949. The Pheasant Café opened in 1949, has been owned by the same couple since 1966 and run by 3 generations of the family since then! The professional team and the fans of this local hub form the "Pheasant fam." Locals affectionately call
Heard about the Norwegian waffle brunch served on weekends, so checked it out on a Saturday in September. So good, takk for maten! Just the right amount of cardamom in the batter gave that special traditional Scandinavian flavor along with lingonberry preserves. A couple other combinations available. Didn't try it with the fish option, maybe it's smoked salmon, but if you like that then you'd probably enjoy it with the waffles.

A small, family-owned group of restaurants, hand-crafting food since 1995. We feature wood-fire grilled steaks cooked over full-size logs of oak and ash, award-winning BBQ slow-smoked on premise, homemade desserts and much more.
Sometimes you get discouraged when you look for restaurants that you can depend on for good food and service - no matter when or how often you visit them. Whiskey Creek rates, in our opinion, Very Good, Very Good, Very Good and Very Good. The last time we were there my wife had the brisket and I had the half rack Ribs. As usual, the food was good, the server was attentive and efficient, the table and floor were clean and the peach cobbler is a glorious way to finish up. Restaurant is easily accessible - close to the Interstate and hotels. We recommend.

Our burgers are made fresh to order, with fresh (never frozen) ground beef. The delicious buns are made fresh daily with our own secret recipe. Burgers are topped with your choice of ketchup, mustard, pickles, onions, cheese, or our homemade mustard dill
Small downtown restaurant that is worth seeking out. We enjoyed a late lunch and found it busy but not overcrowded. There are no booths - just counter seating. Burgers were a little smaller as advertised but were absolutely delicious. Service staff looked after us well. It is a limited menu but the burgers make it more than worthwhile.

We had appetizers and beer. The Bavarian pretzels come with cheese sauce. We had 2 local American IPA. They were cold, fresh and well poured. We also had Chorizo bites. They are sausage bites and we were surprised at how good they were. Restrooms available.
