We keep going here because the food is good, but it's really rare where they don't mess up some part of our order. Forget our appetizer, bring the wrong beer, mess up the pizza... It's remarkable how it happens almost every time. It's really frustrating because the food is generally the best pizza and calzones around.

Been here many times and are fans. This visit was sad. Disorganized staff, and the always reliable chicken Bryan was horrible. Burned the butter, told our server who said she would tell the manager, and we never heard about it again. Paid the bill and won't return.

We go there to eat and in the beginning it was great. Something has happen with the service, food and cleanness of the place With the food it is hit and miss. The service seems like the servers do not know what they are doing. There are exception though. The place inside stinks. The carpet either needs to be cleaned or all together replaced with tile or wood flooring. I have been to other Carrabbas and that is not the case. Also, the restrooms need a lot of attention. Waste basket always full, water on the counter tops and on the floor.. It seems the Carrabbas in Mt Pleasant is a lot better than this one. I might have to start going to that one.

Went to Amici's last night with our neighbors and had the absolute best time. Upon arrival at 6:30, we were seated in a booth by the front of the store and waited on by a wonderful waitress named Ally. Ally was the absolutely best. When she came to the realization that we were a carefree table, she enjoyed waiting on us as much as we enjoyed her waiting on us. We ordered an appetizer of Bruschetta which was delicious. For our main dish, I had the create your own pasta with Penne pasta, Alfredo sauce and Italian sausage which was $12.99 until I added the sausage which added $4 making it $16.99. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce and sausage were tremendously delicious. My wife had the Chicken Marsala (which I polished off for her and it was amazing! I intend to order it on our next trip which will be soon. The chicken was a large portion on flat noodles and the Marsala sauce was oh so good! Ally made a recommendation on a Mascoto Red wine which was $29 for the bottle and it complimented our meal perfectly. You can't eat Italian without polishing it off some wonderful tiramisu. "Jen's (the owner) homemade Tiramisu" was the piece de resistance to an outstanding meal. The entire time we were there, we were entertained by live music by John Congdon who played the piano and accordion. Rare is the occasion where the meal, service, atmosphere and ambiance all get 5 stars without having to spend a fortune. This was a 5 star meal in every way at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone looking for the most authentic Italian food since "Tom Portaro's" closed down in N. Charleston.

Great visit to Steel City! Everything we had was so good! From the cold beer, the great margaritas all the way to the cheeseburger pizza. My husband and I also tried two new sandwiches. An Italian like wedgie and a philly steak and cheese! They were delicious as well! Service was good! A nice place to try!

Still think best Italian in Charleston area. Went again last night. Noticed in daylight thought place could use a nice clean up. Bit dirty and aged. Food was great. No Happy hour anymore which makes no sense as bar was empty? Maybe HH would help?Server was sweet but clueless as to dishes, how to pronounce them and just a bit aloof. But still nice person. The hostesses was also a bit out there. All good and will come back but do some cleaning and maybe some proper server training.

We had a rehersel dinner set up at another pizza place in town for Sunday evening. The other place called us during the day to let us know that they were without power and would not be opening. We scrabbled and called Community Pizza. They were willing and able to take our party of 30 people and make a great time of it. They set up a buffet style line for us with pizza, salads and pastas. The wait staff took care of our table with ease and never rushed us out. We even hung out to play trivia. Thank you for being a part of our special weekend.
