Cecilia and her husband have created a gem of a restaurant. Cecilia greets each diner, and is willing to talk in Spanish with those who wish to practice. The food is amazing--not Tex-Mex but true Mexican. Dishes incorporate fresh vegetables, the Mexican potatoes are a great side, and the pico de gallo is always fresh and flavorful--none of that chopped iceberg lettuce and sour cream some TexMex places try to foist on you. Even the refried beans have a special twist to them. Some of our favorite dishes are the arroz con pollo, quesadilla especial, and the quesadilla de fajita. The tortilla chips are excellent, and the salsa also is very good if sometimes inconsistent in spiciness. You have to try the fried ice cream--our favorite is with the chocolate, but the one with strawberries is an excellent choice as well, and the flan is really good too.

It has been a while since I have stopped in, but the changes were very noticeable. The community local art work was removed from the walls and in place were harsh LED strip lights on the ceiling. It was like being in the freezer case when the door opens at the market! The food was still the same yummy goodness: crazy Susan is still my favorite and the sauce is amazing. Not sure I like the decor changes, but the food is terrific!

Cantina 76 is a lively, independently owned restaurant and bar that specializes in fresh Mexican-inspired cuisine and signature margaritas; providing a fast yet satisfying dining experience in a casual, upbeat atmosphere with seating inside and out at two
I had really high hopes for this place from reading reviews. The queso and bean dip was good to start with. The enchiladas were ok. I gave three stars based on the service. It was terrible. Had to ask the bus boy to get a drink refill. Waitress didnât even check on me the entire time... took 15 minutes to get the check after asking multiple people. I will not be back..

Went into Cantina 76 to grab a drink and relax from our travel. The margaritas were tasty and they have a decent beer selection. The tacos were delicious!! I recommend the bbq pork taco. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Maybe a little too quick as you can feel a bit rushed. My only complaint would be I wished the drink glasses were bigger :)

You know that you have hit the motherlode when your server is not very fluent in English. Service was attentive. Food came out hot. Salsa was solid. Chips were warm.Ordered for the most part from the lunch menu and paid the $1 upcharge because it was a Saturday. I would recommend that you avoid anything served in a spinach flavored soft shell. Other than that it was great. Wife loved her shrimp avocado salad and BBQ taco. Sons enjoyed their lunch choices that came with a ton of good food for $7.99. The fillings in my spinach quesadilla were good once I discarded the shell.Highly recommend this place. It has atmosphere in a big way.
