Weâve eaten here frequently over the past eight years, in fact it was our go to Mexican restaurant. Yesterday we ate here and lots of details seem to be sliding. My husband order beef fajitas, and most of his beef was too chewy to eat. My food was bland, especially the beans which desperately needed some salt. The service was okay. We ate on the patio with a direct view of the dumpster and an accumulation of old service equipment and boxes around it. It was a gorgeous day, so we thought itâd be pleasant to sit outside to view Lake Wylie.The view to the right of our table was the old car wash which really cannot be changed. But, It would be so simple to put up a partition around the dumpster and accumulated trash without blocking the lake view. It just seems like the restaurant has lost its desire to put its best our there for their customers. We left extremely disappointed that some place weâve liked so much is slipping in food and ambience.

Family had left, looking for a nearby place for a quick bite. First time here. Floors pretty grimy, in fact the whole restaurant was in need of cleaning up. Waitress very polite. Decent menu. Salsa very bland. Almost like catsup. We both had burrito specials. Decent prices, but I want a little "spice" in my Mexican food. I will try again. Maybe it was an off night.

We'd visited this place under old ownership and the old name and found it to be OK. But since it's been opened as Los Aztecas, it really seems to have become more authentic, the food tastes better, the menu has more variety... overall, it's a keeper.

This restaurant serves authentic Mexican food at a reasonable price. Their combination plates are around $8 and is quite enough food. Please be aware of ordering anything from the cart man as the prices are very steep , for example a small guacamole salad dip will cost $7.99 .But other than that the food is delicious and worth eating . It is always full , so go try it out

This is a little nicer than many Mexican restaurants, but the food was terrific and the service was excellent. Our kids wanted several changes to their dishes and that was no problem. We would definitely return.
