I ordered a shrimp coctail to go. No crackers, no lime, no hot sauce. They were okay but not really authentic Mexican the sauce was to tick and sweet.

Unfortunately, we wont go back....even if it were free. We normally go to another Mexican restaurant half a mile from here, but decided for a change of scenery. NOPE! Cheese dip for my daughter was spicy enough for her to not want it...which NEVER happens. My beef filled items tasted sour. My wifes mole' covered stuff was bad enough for her to not even want to finish it,again, which never happens. The 2nd beer I ordered(because it took 30 minutes to get our food) was only filled 3/4 full when the waitress(who was ok guess) set it on the table. I smiled and asked if the bartender could fill this up and she stated it was the correct amount, it was just in a different sized glass????? WHAT? REALLY???? My meal, my daughters tenders and fries(which were the best tasting things on the table), my wifes meal, cheese dip and fundido and beers were $52! Worst $50 I've spent in a long time. She gave us free chips n salsa to take home...probably will go to the trash. WILL NOT GO BACK. Not even if it were free. I hate giving bad reviews......
Where to eat Pub food in Goose Creek: The Best Restaurants and Bars
A group of six of us met for margaritas and dinner. The small margarita looks the same as a medium. Our waiter we found out was new. We ordered simple meals, and two of the entrees were incorrect. When we ordered, there were maybe only two other tables with customers at the time. My soup was very good as was the guacamole dip. THEN, a group of 40-50 well-mannered young men (soldiers? sailors?) arrived. We were promptly forgotten about/ignored. It seems the restaurant was not prepared for that large group. No one checked on us for correcting orders, refilling margarita orders or chips, ordering dessert, giving us to-go boxes, giving us our checks. I had to ask twice for a take-out bowl for my soup. The waiter tried to separate our bills and just gave up. He had those 40-50 people to take care of seemingly by himself. We straightened it out at the register. I'll be back because the food is tasty. I just hope the restaurant learns to call someone to come in when it gets busy like that.

Our son has spent the last year and a half as a student at the near by navy base, and learned of this little "hole in the wall" Mexican place from some friends. He had driven by it without noticing many times. A very small place, nothing to look at on the outside, next to an Ace Hardware. Inside I think there are only 3 or 4 tables, and another 4 outside under an awning. The menu on a big board over the "station" where you order is all in Spanish. Place your order and the wait about 5 or 10 minutes. Drinks are bottles of soda from the cooler. I know, so far this doesn't sound too good, but wait. The food is fantastic! This is real authentic Mexican fare, not the Americanized stuff that pretends to be Mexican. I should have taken pictures, but was too busy eating. Anyway the Burritos are HUGE, you pick the filling, there are about 4 or 5 choices. Same choices for filling of Tacos, again not the Americanized junque from that place with a bell. Soft shell corn tortillas for the tacos. The Chili Rellanos plate had two chilis, coverd with a nice sweet tomato sauce, a huge scoop of spanish rice, and some refried beans. Served with some home made pico-de-gallo, and a half of a lime. We were there just after noon, and it looked like most of the customers were from the Navy base. There is a 10% discount for military personnel. Why is this review a "4": The food is very good, you get your money's worth and more, but lets be honest, the place looks like a real hole in the wall, and is not very big or at all fancy.
