1 star for TERRIBLE service. Friendly server but it shouldn't take 20 minutes to take an order and definitely not 20 minutes after we're done eating to pay. However, 5 stars for tacos. We had buttermilk fried chicken and IPA fried fish. Yum. 1 star for kids taco - swimming (and I mean swimming!) in grease. 3 stars for loaded fries (only okay after returned twice). We were all really disappointed after hearing such good things about this place.

Molinas Mexican Restaurant

I'm from Texas so I am pickier than most people and still searching for a really good Mexican Restaurant that serves good Mexican food snd great margaritas. Molinas is not it but they do have fairly good food. The frozen margarita was watery and lacked that oomph that good margaritas do. There was a good crowd so others must think it is good. I had the shrimp & octopus cocktail. It was a little watery but the octopus was very tender. My wife had shrimp tacos...need more pica de gallo and some lettuce and cheese.

If you go inside the restaurant, you get good service and decent food. The drive-thru, however, is a lesson in aggravation! The wait is LONG - usually 10 minutes or more. The last time I was there, the outdoor menu had not been updated in months, so the prices are higher when you get to the window.
