Frozen burgers, microwaved soup. What else need I say? This is supposed to be a down home, soul food type of place, but it's really just fast food with a somewhat diverse menu. Like a wannabe southern cookout. Except disgusting.

Bojangles' is a regional southern chain which has fried chicken and sides. Some chicken is regular fried and other has a cajun spice to it. They have dirty rice, beans, fries and other assorted sides. They also have sweet booberry biscuits and pecan twists for dessert. Great sweet tea. Restaurant is new and it clean and well maintained. Service can be slow at times. The biscuits and chicken are worth the wait.

We were traveling and stopped for a quick, light breakfast on the way. One of the specials was the country fried steak biscuit. I usually have the ham biscuit but we both tried the steak biscuits and they were delicious! I've tried steak biscuits in the past but never had one this good. And even though we have stopped at this location often and always find the biscuits to be the best--we asked that the baker be complimented on the biscuits this morning. They were perfect. To make matters even better where can you have a great breakfast for two for a few cents over $5? Service was excellent as usual--everyone is friendly and very helpful.
