. We have been frequenting Relish restaurant several times a month for the last year and a half. I'm sorry to report that it has gone from very good to terrible.Initially the service and food were very good although the atmosphere was always lacking. Portions were decent, food was tasty and it was a great place to stop for dinner before catching a movie in the theater next door. Over the last several months we have felt Relish slipping, but we gave it the benefit of the doubt. We reasoned that perhaps the shortage of help on Hilton Head was causing the problems. But after bringing guests twice in the last 5 days, we no longer want to make excuses. Tonight was absolutely terrible. Bang bang shrimp and calamari were ordered as appetizers. You could taste no shrimp and no calamari. The only taste came from a thick batter coating on each that tasted like it was fried in old oil. My son ordered Pho with rare steak, that arrived totally cooked thru. I ordered green curry that supposedly had a coconut milk based sauce. Perhaps the chef had run out of coconut milk because the sauce was watery and almost clear. My daughter-in-law and husband did not finish their Ramen and Pho respectively and not because they were full. The service was also terrible. We were told we could only be accommodated outside so we sat at a table and waited at least twenty minutes without receiving menus. My son went inside to ask for them and they finally came out. About fifteen minutes later our order was taken. And about 15 minutes after that our appetizers arrived. Unfortunately swarms of flies arrived once the food hit the table and we swatted and fanned at them for the rest of the meal. Without doubt even wonderful food would be unappetizing after legions of flies landed on it. And this food was far from wonderful. Our meal earlier in the week wasn't any better. At that time we took visiting friends. The food came in small portions and was totally uninspired. . The service, as it was tonight, also was poor. One party that came in after us, paid their check and left just as our appetizers were served. We were initially happy to be seated inside, but later found it became unbearably warm because the restaurant air conditioning system could not keep up with the scorching heat outside. We're not sure what is going on at Relish. But we do know it's no longer the restaurant we used to love to frequent. Perhaps will give it a try for the brunch, which seems to draw good reviews.

We visited Hilron Head Island and went for dinner here. It was tasty food but in a expensive side. We had seafood as well as land based food. Died rice was moist and tasty.

My wife and I enjoy coming to OKKO because of the consistently good food and service. Last night was no exception, we enjoyed a nice bottle of wine coupled with soup, the OKKO appetizer platter and the Triple Delight dinner which is served on a sizzling platter. Our waitress Liz did a great job on taking care of us, she was friendly, personable and efficient. Best place for oriental food on HHI!

We loved this warm, welcoming sushi restaurant. We arrived without a reservation, relaxed in the small lounge to wait for a table, and were seated more quickly than anticipated. The staff was very nice, and the sushi was very good. I would definitely go back on a future trip to Hilton Head!
