This was our second time at T L. Food and service are generous. While I whole-heartedly recommend the restaurant, I was a bit disappointed in the vegetable aspect/choices, especially given the amazing produce available at the Charleston farmers markets the last week of May. We did have a fantastic burrata dish. One of our guests is not a cheese or fish lover, and I have to say it was tricky to feed her as beautifully as the rest of the table. Service is lovely thereâdefinition of hospitality. They only serve wine...get your martini down the street before you arrive and then tuck into some great Italian choices over dinner.

Visited with my daughter and ordered the pancake like all the reviews recommended. It was fine, not over the top and very salty. We also ordered Mapo Dou Fu. It did say spicy on the menu which we like but this was blazing! They should mention that itâs to the extreme spicy! We had one bite each and couldnât even eat it. One bite each! Service was terrible. He finally came to check on us, we told him, the response....yep thatâs a hot one. Did nothing to make us happy or ask if we wanted something else. Took it away and charged us full price and that was that. To me thatâs poor customer service and would not recommend.

I have been here twice now and disappointed both times. The restaurant is not large, so plan ahead. Both times the food was fine, but nothing amazing. And both times I left feeling moderately full after spending about $20 (food and a glass of water). First visit had the green curry. Tasty, but nothing to write home about. I have had better at a place down the street for half the price. This was also a smaller portion, and this was a dinner visit. Second visit, at lunch, had the curry laksa with tofu and poached egg. Egg was well done...the whole point of poached is to have the yolk throughout the food...no luck there. And while to portion looked large, I was hungry about an hour after eating...and after spending $18 before tax for lunch. Service is hit or miss. I won't be back. There are too many other good places to try. So sorry to hear this! We appreciate all feedback we receive and will be sure to share your thoughts with our management.
