The Smokehouse at Paris Avenue in a small, family-run restaurant featuring classic barbeque fare, with a smokey twist. Meats are smoked to make sure it is both flavorful and juicy. We also have your favorite classic BBQ, sides are served up with our own h
Excellent BBQ, also had stuffed potato that was very good. Reasonably priced and good service. The waitresses were very friendly even though they were quite busy. Recommend getting there early for lunch.

Had the Grouper Basket, with fries, hush puppies and Cale slaw. The grouper was a 6 ounce piece pan fried and delicious all ha the clam chowder which was thick and delicious. Not much on ambiance. The restaurant is attached to the Sea Eagle Fish Market. The fish is fresh and they have a very good menu. My wife had catfish with fried okra and fries. Both lunches were delicious.

Good selection of primarily seafood, but also burgers that looked awesome. Entrees and sandwiches had some original offerings. Companion had a veggie and grits plate , which is a little unique. Good selection of appetizers and soups. Didn't get to dessert, which are supposed to be good also.

Wow! Came to Beaufort for the day.. wanting seafood we chose Steamers Oyster and Steakhouse! The female serving our table was RUDE .. no customer service! The soup choices - Gumbo and Bisque ... both seafood. The Gumbo tasted good but had 1 shrimp and lots of sausage. The bisque had 1 baby shrimp in the bowl of cream. The lunch shrimp and grit was very unusual - w NO shrimp at all??? Just bacon/sausage?? So ground up you had no Idea what you were eating, also too much salt and onion. The Frogmore Stew was good .. a bit salty, lots of sausage ONLY 6 shrimp. . Corn NOT EDIBLE - no taste. The shrimp and scallop fried dish - very little food and cooked close to burned outside. The shrimp and oysters - fried were good but very little food I DO NOT RECOMMEND. THE $100.00 could be spent better ANYWHERE ELSE!

Had the shrimp salad for lunch and it was delicious. The salads looked amazing and their fruit was very fresh and in season. A friend had the BLT and it looked delish! Would definitely eat here again. They have a nice dining area outside right on the battery/waterfront and it was very nice and relaxing!

Historic Beaufort's Urban Seafood Grill. The Saltus Kitchen is home to a cast of talented characters committed to the culinary art form, experience and presentation. From it comes our area's freshest sushi, mind-blowing steaks and seafood and an unsurpass
We both had fish. It was well cooked and presented. Nice restaurant. The only downside was the sudden arrival of an overly noisy bunch of loud mouthed, boorish, obnoxious middle aged American men. Probably on some kind of golf trip but what a rabble. May as well have been in a Taco Bell at that point.

This is such a delicious restaurant, with great atmosphere, and even greater service. We had the crab cakes, fried shrimp, pasta, and fried oysters, and of course hush puppies. We eat seafood all the time since we are from Charleston SC, and everyone in our group agreed that this restaurant has some of the best seafood we have ever had. Our server was excellent. Prices are very reasonable. Can't wait to go back!!

We are a locally owned family restaurant specializing in seafood, steak, ribs, and a variety of great desserts. The restaurant is under new ownership and management as of April 2017. Please stop back in if you've been gone for a while, or if you've never
Though this wasn't near as bad as some of the other restaurants I've been to here it was not good either. Every place I have been to here that serves Seafood (besides Dockside) overcooks their entrees. The food here was just overall bland, not seasoned well and my family got the fried shrimp and it was overbreaded tiny pieces of shrimp. It wasn't as poor as Foolish Frog but close. Family style atmosphere though so decently nice on the inside.

Beautiful rustic restaurant nestled on the Lowcountry barrier island, with stunning marsh views, serving local shrimp from the shrimp boats just up the road, beautiful fresh seafood and local produce from Demsey Farm. We pride ourselves in fresh prepared
This is one of our two favorite restaurants in the area. We saved it for our last night at Hunting Island. We had shrimp and crab cakes. Both were excellent. The crab cakes were served with what husband said was fantastic risotto and a corn-bean-pepper medley. My shrimp was served with good fries but I spent my time on the excellent shrimp and slaw. Service was good and the atmosphere pleasant. Only ding was they did not have baked potatoes.
