I am impressed. No, seriously impressed. My husband and I had dinner here for our wedding anniversary last month and loved it. We loved it so much, we came back and celebrated my sister's birthday! And, I came back without him for lunch, but don't tell him ;) At this point, I'm just looking for reasons to celebrate so we can make reservations at Burtons...The service is always stellar. The servers are knowledgeable and you can tell they've been trained to intentionally engage. They make the experience even more enjoyable! And the food is delicious and well-prepared...consistently. Each time I tried something new from the menu, and each time the meal was lovely. And, as a Vegetarian (pescatarian), there are a number of options for me, which I love. Plus, they will almost prepare anything you ask, and any way you ask. That's a part of their service culture. Brilliant! Lastly, and most importantly to me, because everything is made fresh, they can steer clear of allergens for you. That sealed the deal for me. I am allergic to both blue crab and coconut oil. They asked about allergies each visit, and prepared my meals accordingly...and even served them on square plates so there was no confusion at the table. Nice! I truly enjoy Burtons. It's quickly becoming our new favorite place to dine.

We stopped here for lunch on a whim and was captured buy the taste of food and atmosphere. Please get the bread! Itâs like my focaccia bread but with more flavor, rosemary and parsley Iâm told. Our food was beautifully presented and the taste was just top notch. Very warm and friendly service from McKensie.

What a gem of a restaurant ! Tucked into a strip mall in Isle of Palm , this restaurant is one to go to! Best in the Island! Fresh seafood with an Italian twist. We started with the oysters with a watermelon vinagrette and it was outstanding !! So was the cantaloupe and orange tomato burata!! Yum!! The Hallibut was to to die for and the pasta dishes were outstanding ! The Caesar is also great!! Run not walk to Coda de PecheReservations needed

We heard about The Obstinate Daughter from a couple sources. It has a rustic, charming, great vibe with floor to ceiling weathered wood and simple decor. The Geechie Frites, Ricotta Gnocchi, Pepperoni Pizza (no mushrooms) and Cinnamon Bun were delicious!!! We had quite a lovely lunch here, and we will definitely come back when we return to Charleston!! Highly recommend!! Arrive early or make a reservation to ensure you dine here!!

I am from NY where there is no issue finding great restaurants with great food. I unfortunately think Charleston has very lack luster dining options. Even the large chains like ruth chris the steaks are disappointing. However with that being said i am always satisfied with my experiences at Nico. The food and service are great. The inly issues i have are i wish they were open for lunch weekdays the escargot the past few times i was a bit disappointing. But just wont order again and they could switch up the menu a bit. I love what i love but i know my guests thought the menu was a bit too small and maybe a child's option. My daughter does love the steak!! But again service and food great and pretty consistent with the small exception of the escargot. Will definitely continue dining at Nico!!Thank you for your kind feedback! I will pass on the escargot comments to Chef as well as the children's option. We look forward to seeing you the next time you are in town, and as our menu changes seasonally, we should have some new and exciting things for you to try!

We had a birthday girl who was originally from Charleston who wanted to go back there to celebrate. Nothing like the food in South Carolina and Acme did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and deliciously preparedâfish, shrimp or oystersâdidnât matter. All were delicious. Very casual decor and laid back atmosphere. Welcoming and attentive staff. Be sure to save room for dessert! We tried several with multiple spoons and the coconut cream pie was SO good I think I will start my meal with it the next time I am here to visit. Truly a great choice if you just want good food served by good people.
