Live close by but had not stopped in since they opened. What a mistake! The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful with selections. This is not a typical Mexican restaurant, number 11 taco, burrito, enchilada type menu. Edgar was my server and was fantastic. I went with one of his recommendations and enjoyed it very much. I would order it again. Portions were big but very good. Chips and salsa were very good also. My new go to Mexican restaurant. If you were like me and keep driving by, stop and give them a try. You will return like me.

Not the beat mexican food, or even tacos, that I've ever had, but the staff and environment was good and so was the food. I went here on a business trip and tried the corn fritters which were presented nicer than I expected, colorful, and tasty. The remaining sauce was used on my taco. I tried the Mother Clucker which was recommended to me by the server...it was pulled chicken, some pico and I believe some guacamole. I liked the taste and flavor, would say it got quite messy with the juice from the chicken, but how can you avoid that and keep the chicken moist? For desert they have a selection of popsicles at the front and I grabbed 2. Great treat. On the way out the door I grabbed my wife a shirt that resembled a Hulkamania shirt, which I think she'll like "Tacomania". Later I realized I misplaced my receipt. After a quick call, the manager on duty (Christian) was able to pull up a copy of my receipt and email it to me. To me, this was going above and beyond, especially after a long night of work. It saved me a lot of trouble. The food is good. The atmosphere is good and lighthearted. The staff's friendliness is what sets the standard. Go give it a try if you're in the Greenville area.

For the best Southeastern Mexican zest, your first and only stop must be La Parrilla Mexican Restaurant. Since 1994, we have been serving up a Fiesta, with exciting and delicious menu items that are sure to enchant and fascinate our guests. Currently with
I'm not sure who's padding the ratings... but there has to be better Mexican food in Greenville! Having moved recently from Texas, where Tex-Mex abounds, this place would score even lower, but I've given them a geographic break. The salsa was lackluster, the beans and rice over salted while the cheese enchilada was horrible, with queso cheese inside. The beef taco was completely flavorless. The carne assada was tough and chewy. Definitely won't revisit. Hope to find better soon!!

There are more than 100 Chuy's restaurants around the country, but I'd somehow managed to miss them all until this past Saturday when we visited this one on Greenville's busy, busy Woodruff Road. I love eateries with lots of personality, and this one certainly filled the bill; I could have easily spent half an hour just checking out the wall art and the hubcap-festooned ceiling. The food was tasty and generously portioned, and we got friendly, attentive service. I'll be back the first chance I get, but I might not be so quick to order a beer. They don't have beer on tap here, and my bottle of Dos Equis set me back $5.25.

A small family run establishment located in an unlikely location that hits it out of the park on flavorful offerings of tasty Mexican dishes. There is nothing fancy about the decor or environ but the service is attentive and friendly. The recipes are generous in their portions and very tasty. If your in the mood for Mexican food this is a good choice.

Scratch Kitchen. Craft Bar. Locally owned. Sold over 210,000 Tacos to date
We live very close to Tipsy Taco but have never been here. Last night, we decided to give it a try and the food was very good. We sat in a covered outdoor terrace where the floors were filthy. Isn't anyone responsible for cleaning up a bit? If not, you need to have someone occassionally sweep the salsa, french fries, napkin bits, and a number of other food items that we unrecongizable. We were curious what the kitchen was like that was not visable to the public! Yuk! Also, have never been to a Mexican restaurant where they don't serve you chips and salsa. May have been an oversight by our server or maybe, you have to order them here.

Mr. Salsa is a great and reliable go-to for our family, friends, and office staff. The service is fast and friendly. They have a great variety of options from the expected to the dishes they have put their own twist on.My personal favorite lately is Jackâs Burrito Bowl. You choose your meat option and it comes loaded with lettuce, cheese, roasted bell peppers and onions, pico de gallo, and beans. I highly recommend it.

Perfect spot near work to get a bite for lunch. Menu offers quite a few varieties of tacos. I am a little picky, so I just went with the gringo (hamburger meat). I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of beef they used on each taco. I tried the steak on my friends taco and it was quite good. I was a little disappointed with the salsa. There were 2 jars on the table. The first one was extremely mild and I did not dare tasting the second one as just a sniff was as much as I could handle. It would be nice to have one in between the 2 extremes. Wait staff was pleasant and food came out quickly. I will return.
