I canât figure out why this place gets such rave reviews other than the fact that thereâs no decent Italian in Ft. Mill at all. We drive 20 minutes to Hawthornes while this place is just around the corner. Pizza is very greasy and nothing else on the menu makes we want to come back either. Weâve now been here 3 times hoping it gets better. I think Iâm done with the food but they do have a nice bar with a few good local drafts if you just want to get out for a drink.

Had the fried mushrooms with horseradish dip, it wasnât anything that special. We tried it because it was mentioned in quite a few reviews. The honey mustard boneless chicken wings were very very tasty. The Cajun garlic wings were aggressively seasoned, a bit salty, the ranch sauce helped to smooth it down a bit. Service was nice and attentive.Minus points:Being a sport bar... Out of 5 TV screens, none was showing the French Open, which is one of the 4 major tennis tournaments throughout the year. Music was dated... some commercial pop from the mid 2000âs.

I was out with a few of our sales reps who are local to the area and they insisted that we eat here. I got excited because local restaurants are always the best. This place is no exception! There's outdoor seating and indoor seating. The menu is simple enough but offers enough options for everyone. And the nachos are fantastic. Finally, the wait staff was very friendly and very efficient. Perfect for a business lunch. Yum!

Have gone 2 days in a row and have not been disappointed. They do a great job smoking their meats. The St Louis ribs were tender and delicious. The garlic chicken wings were very good. The sautéed garlic mushrooms were tasty. A must try are the fried squash - excellent.

The Hickory Tavern is the perfect place for a business lunch, after work happy hour, or to go watch any game! Bring the kids or just have a girl's night out. Whatever the occasion, the Hickory Tavern is always the perfect destination! The preferred game d
While visiting friends in Charlotte, my longtime, hometown buddy dragged me into the Hickory Tavern. He told me that he and his wife frequent this place and he was sure I'd like it too. My needs were simple that night, a cold Rolling Rock and The Texas Longhorns on a big screen. He assured me I could find both. We bellied up to the bar and was waited on immediately. My beer was priced at $3.00 which surprised me. I thought it might be a little higher for the area. We ordered some tavern chips to go along with our cold refreshing beverages and guess what, the football game I wanted to watch was right in front of me! If it's a specific game you're interested in, no worries, there seems to be a hundred TVs in this place. We were always under the watchful eye of both attractive and very friendly bartenders ready to refill an empty drink while my buddy and I caught up on lost time and watched the game. I can't say enough how attractive and attentive the staff is here at "The Hickory." We were there long enough to see and hear a few songs because it was karaoke night. The talent was pretty good, I have to admit. We enjoyed our time so much we ended up coming back the next night for something to eat. My buddy, his wife and I sat at a table and were waited on again in a timely fashion. We all enjoyed our meals while we enjoyed some conversation. Keep in mind this place has a sports bar atmosphere so expect the excited fan to yell and scream when their team catches a pass, scores an out or drops a ball. It goes with the territory I guess. The noise level is high but fun. So come as you are, wear your team's jersey or dress a little nicer if you wish. It all fits in here at the Hickory Tavern. And if you're a single guy, plan on falling in love... several times!!!

Christopher's Grill & Bar is a full-service restaurant and bar located in Lake Wylie, SC. In addition to our restaurant services, we also offer professional full-service and drop-off catering. See our menu for our daily specials including fish frys, taco
My husband loves Christopher's but I am never sure why. Service is downright poor, though friendly enough. Food is completely unexceptional -- though burgers can be good. Fried food can be very good or dismal, depending on how long it has been sitting. It is a decent place for families, not too noisy, but with plenty of televisions for watching sports.

Ribs. Pork. Chicken. Brisket. Hell, even sausage. All BBQ has the same three basic ingredients: smoke, meat and time. What makes it different is the amount, consideration and attention to each part of that recipe. That, and some really great bbq sauce, to
Jim 'n Nicks was a nice experience. Hostesses were nice, seat was not under fan, temp. was comfortable. 6-7 TVs going with various sports shows going. Server was friendly, brought beverages quickly, took the order, and it wasn't too long before the food arrived. Quantities were plentiful, food was hot. Taste was fine, though the BBQ process is a firm believer in keeping the whole pig in the equation. Unfortunately chucks of fat in the BBQ are a quick turn-off for us and about a third was left on the plate or tossed later. Salad was crisp, potato was HUGE! So, go hungry. It's a nice place...just not a future date for us.

Since Lake Wylie is mostly filled with fast food eateries, a more upscale but casual place like Copper is constantly full. And very noisy inside. That is why I recommend sitting outside if the weather permits. I have always enjoyed the food and the service. My favorites are any of the salads, lamb burgers, sweet potato fries, and sliders. The Greek sliders are unforgettable. Most people love the burgers. The beer choice is substantial. The prices are quite reasonable, considering portion size. Copper deserves at least a half.star more. I only gave 4 because of the noise. Go at off times if you do not want to wait.

This is a local place we can always count on for prompt, pleasant service and good food. Generally the managers stop by our table and ask if everything is good. Recently hubby had a black and blue burger with their awesome, crisp, homemade chips. I had the shrimp entree salad and requested blue cheese crumbles in lieu of the shredded cheese. It was delicious. The restaurant was packed since it was St Paddyâs Day, but service was still attentive. This is one of our go to places near home-never letâs us down.
