My family ate here during our trip. We ordered everything from pork rinds to totchos tp burgers to bbq. Everyone was happy with their food. The Elvis dessert with a skillet cookie covered in peanut butter and banana and a scoop of ice cream was delicious. It did take a little while for the service specifically getting some of the food and our bills, but that is expected with such a large group. I read other reviews before eating here and was a little nervous, but Billy G's outperformed my expectations and delivered.

We frequent Poeâs regularly. Last visit we both had tacos. My husband had Mahi-mahi and I had Buffalo Shrimp and we both had onion straws on the side. Not only was it fresh and delightfully spiced, every bite had shrimp. I could barely hold them in the taco! This is a must visit on Sullivanâs Island.

Ate here several years ago. It was just ok this time. We were seated right next to the kitchen on high bar stool type table. This allowed us a view of the kitchen where I witnessed a cook eating while working. The pulled pork was ok and the sauces were tasty. The mac-n-cheese was kind of dry. Also, the tomato and cuke salad was made with grape tomatoes. Maybe they ran out of fresh tomatoes? Not sure. Our waitress was nice and friendly and we were served fast so that is good. It wasn't crowded. Not sure if we will return the next time we are in the area.

Made my first trip here. There were not as many seafood choices as I had thought there might be. Food choices are mostly like bar/pub food, wings, burgers, etc. I got the fish sandwich and the piece of fish was a bit thinner than I had hoped it would be. Wait staff were very friendly and provided good service.

We did not eat here, but we went after dinner as many told us it was a great place to hang out. They did have a band the night we were there. That was nice and fun. Definitely a younger crowd there. Has 2 pool tables. Good beer selection, including local beers.

Coconut Joe's is a family-friendly restaurant right on the beach. We have a wide range of entrees on our menu: burgers, seafood, Caribbean specialties, entree salads, wraps, and plenty of choices for the children. During the season, we have live music at
Great location, close to the pier ,within walking distance of the county park ,could be so good but was not .I hate giving negative reviews however the food here was sub par . We came off the beach around 1pm looking for a snack only ,I Ordered the crab dip appetizer and my wife ordered the coconut shrimp appetizer ,both tasted like poorly prepared boxed appetizers from Costco. The crab dip in particular was just plain sorry, and the coconut shrimp was no better .Service was acceptable until a table of eight sat next to us , we never got asked for a drink refill etc. after that .Two days later we walked right by this place looking for a snack and found a nice taco place nearbyGosh, Mike, Iâm glad you got some good food from our neighbor. Iâm very surprised at your complaint about the quality of our appetizers, though. People usually RAVE about our coconut shrimp, especially, and having made thousands of them myself, I can assure you that every step is done by hand. I will for sure check in with the kitchen & see what went wrong! Iâm so sorry you were disappointed!

We went early on a Sunday afternnon. Wanted to have a drink and a snack at the Creekside Grill which is the outdoor drink an d dining area, but it was too crowded. Here is where it got a little interesting:Too crowded at Creekside so we went upstairs to the Morgan Creek Dining Area. It was 4:52 pm. The dining area did not open until 5:00 pm. Well, the bar was active in the dining area so we asked a rather disinterested hostess if we could put in our names with her and sit at the dining room bar. We were told we could not and could go down to the bar outside and get a drink and then come back at 5:00. We explained that it was too busy so she pointed to a waiting chair in the dining room. So, we waited. After that four more small groups came in and were immediately seated at 5:01 pm. Normally I won't make a stink about little things like this but I asked the hostess if I could speak to the manager. She said he was busy, but could seat us right away, as if she knew why I was asking for her boss. After she took a few trays off from some other guests (outside!) she then finally took us to arguably the worst table on the dining room deck. We said that this wouldn't work but was informed that the table next to that was "reserved." So, we just sat down and figured it didn't matter anymore - we probably wouldn't come back after this anyway. Pros: I had some delicious fish tacos. Probably cod, grilled nicely with a delicious mixture of onions, cilantro, aoili and other small diced veggies. Our server, Tyler, did a really good job taking care of us. The live music was really good!Cons: My wife had a very mediocre chicken sandwich, which you could get at a McDons. In addition to that mentioned above, five minutes after we ordered our drinks a table of four loud, obnoxious drunks came in and sat next to us. I realize the restaurant has little control over this, but if you were in our shoes you would either join them or eat quick and leave. We chose the latter because we were looking for a more relaxing dinner. Pricing was a little higher than would be warranted for such average quality.Overall, if you wanted a nice, relaxing time on the marina this could be a very nice place to go. Simply go earlier in the day for Creekside and later in the day for Morgans Creek dining. We will probably give them another chance in the future. Mistakes do happen and businesses should have a second chance to correct them.

We had a birthday girl who was originally from Charleston who wanted to go back there to celebrate. Nothing like the food in South Carolina and Acme did not disappoint! Everything was fresh and deliciously preparedâfish, shrimp or oystersâdidnât matter. All were delicious. Very casual decor and laid back atmosphere. Welcoming and attentive staff. Be sure to save room for dessert! We tried several with multiple spoons and the coconut cream pie was SO good I think I will start my meal with it the next time I am here to visit. Truly a great choice if you just want good food served by good people.

Upscale Dining in a Casual Environment. Gluten Free, Vegetarian, and Children's menus available. Happy Hour daily from 4 pm to 7 pm.
I am impressed. No, seriously impressed. My husband and I had dinner here for our wedding anniversary last month and loved it. We loved it so much, we came back and celebrated my sister's birthday! And, I came back without him for lunch, but don't tell him ;) At this point, I'm just looking for reasons to celebrate so we can make reservations at Burtons...The service is always stellar. The servers are knowledgeable and you can tell they've been trained to intentionally engage. They make the experience even more enjoyable! And the food is delicious and well-prepared...consistently. Each time I tried something new from the menu, and each time the meal was lovely. And, as a Vegetarian (pescatarian), there are a number of options for me, which I love. Plus, they will almost prepare anything you ask, and any way you ask. That's a part of their service culture. Brilliant! Lastly, and most importantly to me, because everything is made fresh, they can steer clear of allergens for you. That sealed the deal for me. I am allergic to both blue crab and coconut oil. They asked about allergies each visit, and prepared my meals accordingly...and even served them on square plates so there was no confusion at the table. Nice! I truly enjoy Burtons. It's quickly becoming our new favorite place to dine.
