We were there for a basketball tournament. We did wait a while on Friday as they were busy. It was well worth the wait. Great staff and great food. This is the place to go. Might need more staff on busy days.

This is a Pittsburgh bar with some very cool sports memorabilia. It certainly does look like a dump from the outside, but the food is absolutely amazing. The grilled lemon pepper shrimp was the best I ever had. Ever. The staff was friendly and very attentive. The prices are great for the quality of food served. It is definitely worth stopping.

Although from Aiken, this was our first visit to this restaurant under the management of Grumpy's. What a change!!!! Very welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Went there for lunch and of course "WINGS". We heard a lot about the wings at Grumpy's and boy, were we NOT let down. As opposed to some other local wing stops, Grumpy's gives you a good sized wing with a lot of meat. We especially enjoyed the variety of sauces (wet & dry) offered. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient (Brooke D.) Food was prepared as ordered and served in a timely fashion. Grumpy's is now, officially, on our short list, at least until we run through ALL the wing sauces!!!!!

Our menu is filled with classic American dishes like steak, salmon, burgers, sandwiches and salads, as well as other traditional favorites like slow-roasted prime rib and our famous chicken tenders, all at a great value.
Went last night @ 5:30 pm for dinner. (Rush starts @ 6:15-6:30). Place was only ½ full.Kitchen had NO silverware available. Brought the wife's salad out, but nothing to eat it with. Waited another 5 minutes for waitress to bring her a fork. Our table was literally 10' from the kitchen. She could have gone in, washed a fork herself and had it to the table in less than a minute. But "it's not my job"...Screwed up my order TWICE after giving VERY specific instructions to the friendly, but not focused waitress.Food tasted OK and was warm enough, although the french fries (that I didn't order) were cold and very small in size. I would have sent them back if I'd ordered them.Got lots of apologies, but not very good execution

Three of us had lunch here recently. We sat out in the patio area and it was delightful, lots of greenery and birds chirping. We shared crab cakes and we each had a different salad. Everything was delicious and our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.

Whiskey and New American Small Plates. Focus on Hand Crafted Cocktials and Seasonal Chef Driven Menus. Located in Historic Downtown Aiken, SC
The usual brunch favorites, but with a twist! I had a Burrito omelet - the omelet was the tortilla, filled with beans, cheese, sauce and topped with fresh salsa and crema. Served with wonderful roasted potatoes. My dish was V and GF. Right now only have wine and beer on Sunday, but the menu said liquor will be available soon. Very nice outdoor seating area.

We have always found the chili dogs so exceptionally good as to struggle with ordering anything else, even the crab legs. I was feeling kind of Whimpy so I fore saked my chili dog and ordered a cheeseburger. It was indeed the finest cheeseburger I have ever eaten. Great big ole fatboy hand pattied burger made from fresh ground meat and grilled on the flat top the way nature had intended. The Frys were crisp, hot salted and real tasting even if there was a freezer involved. Mrs bbq stayed true to the chili dogs and they were as tantalizing as ever. Premium weenie all lays up cozy in a fresh bun with a ladle of mild chili that rode the bun well. It ended up being a mess to eat not that she cared. There was a reason momma didnât put out silverware when chili dogs were on the menu. Yankees do that sort of thing. Sort of expect it. Not me

Ok so a group of us are in town for a wedding and decided to stop here for dinner and drinks. The beer selection is ok, the stout was great ....but the food and service left a lot to be desired. Both were slow and not at all good. To have to wait an hour and a half for sandwiches and an app ( pretzel bites ) that tasted like they came from Costco and the âbeer cheeseâ which I still question had any beer in it. Itâs a very small space so if your claustrophobic donât go here . We as a group will look elsewhere.

We invited a group of VIPs from the Aiken-area to join us for dinner and although the food is classic - filet mignon, onion soup, pralines & cream ice cream - it was very good. The place has a good wine list and the traditional post-colonial architecture is very pleasant. Our waiter was trying hard but it was obvious that he was not trained to manage a large group of about 15. The bar area was happening when we arrived so I would assume thatâs a place where many go for a drink. A would definitely go again!
