Want a hotdog? Great place to stop for one. Also offers ox tails, chicken baskets, wings and other items. Seating is outside or you can drive in and do take out. Address is incorrect. Business has moved to Wichman Street next to the IGA.

Shoney's is a great place to eat when you come through Walterboro. It is a buffet style restaurant with different selections everyday. The weekend though is my favorite! Friday is seafood buffet. Saturday is BBQ! They have the sweetest most professional wait staff for their style restaurant in this area. There is also a menu from which you can order take out, but you don't get the full experience unless you dine in! I would recommend to any traveler because there is something for everyone!

The restaurant has free parking. It is a typical Waffle House with several counter seats and a few tables/booths. The food is quickly prepared and quite tasty, especially considering the low prices. The service is good. If you want a good meal at a low price, this is a great place to eat.

I have never been in a Waffle House before, and I ate here as part of a deal with the Econo Lodge down the street. Staff greeted me upon entering and were extremely friendly and willing to chat. I ate at the counter so I was able to see my eggs, sausage, and toast being prepared. It was not very busy on a Sunday morning so the service was very quick.

Good food, good service, good prices. Will come again when in the area. Saledbar could use a few extra items like a soup ie.

Stayed down the street and asked folks at Hampton Inn where locals go.....unanimous vote was Main Street Bar and Grille. We followed directions and the center of town is very cute and homey. We went in and took a minute to adjust. Wasnât real busy but some locals at bar so knew we were in right place. Took a couple minutes but bartenders warmed up. Served by two.....one nameless who made a decent martini for wife and then Michaela who was cute and fun and full of local info as well as directions how to get back. She was a true local figuring out her path. We loved her openness. She will do alright in life. Special drafts $5 and Martini $6.50. My wife had the crab cake dinner with homemade mashed potatoes. She loved it but wished she had known it was blackened. A bit spicy but delish. I had the Highway Man burger. This burger is baked with cheese in a philo dough that is covered with ranch dressing. I passed on that and had it plain. It was absolutely phenomenal. Michaela actually came over and told me she had never seen anyone eat it with their hands. Lol. Leave it to me to screw up tradition. Actually just wanted the pure taste and it was awesome. I could see the dressing enhance the flavor and thus the need for knife and fork but I wanted straight taste. Oh well. Good time had by all and when we left the locals were pouring into the establishment. Would have it with dressing next time just to see........

Lunch at the Christmas shop is just about perfect. Everything Iâve tried has been delicious. Itâs clean. The service is quick. And their customer service canât be beat! Southern hospitality at its finest! Itâs a no-fuss menu that is mostly sandwiches and salads. They do have soup, as well. They also have a huge variety of coffee flavors. And. . . Homemade cookies! One of my favorites is the tuna salad with a slice of cheddar. The chicken salad is also divine. For just $7.50, you get a sandwich with your choice of breads, condiments, and cheese; a bag of chips; and a cookie of your choice. Oh, and you can have the sandwich cold, toasted, or grilled. Of course there is also the shop, itself. (The restaurant is in the back of the store.) Itâs Christmas all year! They have just about any shape ornament you can think of and will customize them for free. There is also a section devoted to the nearest upcoming holiday. But Christmas is the big focus.

Half Restaurant. Half Store. All Country
We ate at the Walterboro Cracker Barrel for breakfast and it was most disappointing. The service was incompetent and SLOW, manage was not to be found. The milk was spoiled and they were out of cream. I donât know whatâs going on there but recommend avoiding this restaurant.

Been there for years, very good home cooking. Open for B/L/D.
I don't understand these positive reviews. The first time we tried the Olde House Cafe it was lunch and the buffet was dried out and not even close to appetizing. Whatever we had off the menu was substandard to the cheapest fast food. The second time, after a two year break, was to meet some traveling friends for breakfast. I didn't think any of the waitstaff was overly friendly or quick on the coffee refills or ever checked back after our food that took forever because it was getting cold in the kitchen. The food was so bad ie cold greasy half raw fried potatoes, cold unappetizing scrambled eggs, the cheapest bread on earth for toast etc. Not one of the four of us finished our plates. I live in Walterboro and wouldn't subject my dog to anything this bad.
