We're Always Cookin' There's something about a freshly made meal, prepared just for you. Maybe it's a waffle sundae to celebrate the day you get your braces off, or a plate full of loaded hash browns after a Saturday morning soccer game. Whatever the occa
The Huddle House has great breakfast but have also done dinner here. We always enjoy the food. They have done some renovations and it is even nicer.

In the style of the old Highway 301 burger joints, this restaurant has been around for a long time. It has been Burger Chick for a while and is under new management in the last couple of years. Still great food though. Hamburgers are hand made and cooked when ordered, great chicken and other typical things. Eat here for the food, not the atmosphere but it is a nice reminder of how restaurants were before the McFastfood places. Worth a trip!
Building is dated and needs a deep cleaning. The food is really good if you can see past the décor. The staff is friendly but not very professional. Tattoos that are visible and the cashier had headphones in her ears while ringing us up and preparing food. Just my personal opinion, but not very professional. The prices are reasonable.

I love this restaurant. I go practically every Sunday, and start with a huge salad from their salad bar, then lots of vegetables from their food bar. Sometimes, I don't take any meat, the rest is so good.I especially like their "Cheese and Macaroni" which seems to have so much more cheese than other places "Mac 'n Cheese". I also love their sweet potatoes. Chicken, of course, is always fun.My last visit was special ... they actually had deviled eggs on the salad bar. I ate 24 of them, counting each of them by halves. (12 eggs for lunch, that's an odd number isn't it.)I'm there so often that the waitresses automatically know what drinks to bring, and everyone is friendly.I also love that the $10 price includes food bar, salad bar, dessert bar, bread, drink and tax. I happily add a tip every week. In fact, I've got the owner trained to automatically ring me up for all of the above. She even puts the receipt in the register unsigned because she knows me so well.NOTE: $6 if you just want salad bar, bread, drink and dessert. From Monday to Friday, it is $8 for the full buffet on Monday through Friday. They also have a breakfast menu (with free refills on juice on some special combos) on Monday through Saturday mornings.Manning Restaurant is the restaurant I eat at the most.

Stopped for dinner and was pleasantly surprisedThe view was really great. The food was the best I have found in a while. The steak was tender and their tea was the best I have had in months.. salad was fresh. The service was great, very nice people, everyone wanted to make sure you were happy. Well worth driving two hours to go back.Overall a great place to go and I couldnât have asked for a better place to take friends.

Stopped here on a trip south. We like to get off the beaten path and try local, hopefully family-owned placed. This spot was all of that. Cheerful and clean with nice homey touches in the decor. The food was really good. Nice service. All around, just a really nice place to relax and eat some good BBQ! We'll be back!
