Heard good things about this place so I stopped and ordered a brisket sandwich on the way home. I agree with another reviewer...the beef brisket is drowned in sauce. You canât get it without the sauce apparently. And I didnât care to much for the sauce. Plus the meat was sliced way too thin, a little chewy and wasnât hot enough. I wonât be getting the brisket again. Maybe the pork is better??

Always loved coming here . Service is great but food has gone way down . They have changed portions and quality. Wings were so small got the combo with kalabbash chicken and even their signature kalabash chicken was extremely small . Salad was good but chicken on it really small and mostly breading . Portions used to be plentiful but not anymore . Sad to see quality go down .

Traveling between Maryland and Hilton Head Island SC we made Florence our overnight stop going south and our lunch stop heading north. Percy & Willie's Food & Spirits is just a couple of minutes east of I-95 on I-20. We picked it because it was different and not a chain, not that we have anything against chains, we don't. We did not put the restaurant to a true test because we only wanted a light lunch. We shared some French onion, some potato soup and an order of deep fried mushrooms, a favorite of mine. The mushrooms were not done the way I liked and I wouldn't order them again. There was too much "stuff" on them which was took away from the mushrooms. Someone else my like them. Both the potato soup and the onion soup were excellent. The restaurant service was super and the environment was great. From some of the seats you can see the chefs at work on the cooking line.We will go back again when we can really test the menu. In the meantime think of it as a great place to make a rest stop or go to dinner if you are staying in Florence.

American and Mediterranean cuisine
While traveling and working nearby my colleagues and I were regular lunch diners here. They have an extensive menu so there was something to satisfy everyone. After just a couple of visits, the server knew our drink orders and preferences. The food was very good and in generous portions. The place is comfortable and staff is friendly and efficient.

Our party of five was seated immediately on a Saturday night. We had reservations, always a good idea at this type of restaurant. We were seated at a great table overlooking the busy sidewalk, a prime location for people watching, but I don't think they could see us through the tinted glass. Our drinks came immediately and were perfectly mixed. The table service continued to be excellent throughout the evening, and I made sure to tip accordingly.I would have liked to see a ribeye on the menu but the New York strip was the nearest alternative, and I decided otherwise. Three of us ordered the surf and turf (scallops and small fillet) which was quite good. I don't remember what one member of our party ordered. We were pleased with the wine we ordered, a Malbec, I believe. As for my lady, she had previously seen favorable reviews of the Town Hall pork chop but the proof is in the eating, and she did not enjoy it. We will be back again the next time we are in town but she will order something else. I hope there will be a ribeye on the menu by then.We came prepared to spend money and you should too. Our check, including tip, was a bit over $300. Not a bargain, but worth it.

Have stopped here for dinner for eons as we travel thru SC. Our absolute favorite Low Country Restaurant. Quality, consistency and value rank right up there with flavor, variety and superb service. Eat in or at one of the two patio tables. Same great food and service!Be sure to try the house-cut potato chips sprinkled with blue cheese crumbles and served with a side container of Vidalia onion dressing. Not to be missed are the shrimp and cheese grits laced with Tasso ham. Yum!If you are lucky, Linda will be your server!Bon appetit!

We stopped for lunch at this Cracker Barrel in Florence, SC off I-95 on our return trip home recently. This was a very decent Cracker Barrel and it had some of the friendliest staff we have encountered at a Cracker Barrel. The lady who seats everybody was very friendly and talkative to everyone, and we had a very friendly and professional waitress who checked us often. This was definitely one of the best Cracker Barrels we have patronized on our travels. Also, we found some very nice deals in the store as well (nice clearance items for our baby that were 70% off -> a rare find at a Cracker Barrel !!) Good food as always with Cracker Barrell.

Walked in early afternoon on a Saturday mind you. I was only buying about 1.5 lbs of brisket. In and out. The hostess was very nice and sent me to the bar. There were a handful of occupied tables and maybe 1 other person at the bar. From there, the waiting began. I don't think it's an exaggeration to suggest I waited at least 5 minutes for someone to ask me what I wanted. Once that happened and I ordered the bbq (no sides mind you), I would guess I waited another 15-20 minutes before I was asked if I wanted it hot or cold. In the interim, while I sat at the bar, I wasn't offered water or anything else while I waited. No one said "bear with us, it's a bit slow in the kitchen today". I was completely ignored, mostly like I was when I walked in. 5 minutes after saying I wanted it cold, the bbq came out and I left. The bbq could have been the best I've ever had (it wasn't though not bad either) and I still wouldn't go back. You never get a second chance to make a first impression and my first impression was they were not interested in selling me food or even showing some basic hospitality (other than the hostess).

This is a restaurant the quality of which you might expect in Manhattan--but with the hospitality of the best of the South. Since we visit Florence frequently, and if it isn't Friday night of Sunday Brunch (which we know will be super crowded and for good reason) we try to take the family to a special dinner here. It is always special. I've never gotten past the divine beef, so I have to comment on the seafood. Service is consistently fine.Rita, thank you so much for the wonderful review. We appreciate your business! It always makes us overjoyed to hear that our guest enjoy themselves when they visit us. We hope to see you back soon!

We stopped here as a party of 6 traveling through on our way home from Florida to Pennsylvania. The staff were very accommodating to move tables for my mom because sitting at a high top would be difficult for her. Their food was delicious, they had 3 variations of shrimp and grits and we had 2 of them, very yummy! She crab soup is flavorful, tasty hush puppies, seafood Mac and cheese with lots of seafood! Oyster Rockefeller Po Boy was great too. Seafood was fresh and great options for kids too! Worth the drive, off the beaten path and number one for a reason!
