We loved our dinner! We started with Basil Pesto Cream Cheese Bake With Roasted Peppers & Chicken Kabobs. They were both incredible. For dinner, my son & I ordered the Filet and my wife had the Grilled Chicken Salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious.

Lovely halibut. Very nice clumped crab. Salads were fresh and flavorful. Bread was so well presented I had to taste it. Hot teas selection was a nice surprise and delightful. Each element was quite enjoyable. I appreciated the chef slightly altering his creations to fit my requests.
the employees at night are cool but eggs werent anything special also i wished they served non pork options
I don't like giving bad reviews. In this case, it is well deserved. We were here for lunch. The service was slow. It took 55 minutes to finally get our food. When the food arrived, it was cold and had an odd taste. My wife thought the hamburger tasted spoiled. My daughter ordered a pasta dish that came out cold, but was burned where it had sat under the warming lamp for who knows how long. At this rate, they will not be here long enough to improve before the word of how bad this place is gets out. My advice to you is do not even give it a try. Let this one die the slow death it has earned.

Mid-morning, stopped for a biscuit sandwich, and experienced a very poorly organized and disgruntled group of workers. Stood in line for 10 minutes while others waited that long or longer for their order, and then we left. The workers have a habit here of yelling orders and talking very loud to each other...lots of comments about "not my job" and evidence of unhappy workers. This trip (have been before for lunch/dinner) convinced me to go elsewhere next time. Needs better management oversight.
A new location (moved to the house next door for larger space). We stopped for lunch. Pleasant service. Tasty food. Variety menu of home-cooked meals. Owner came out and visited each table. Reasonably priced. I had a customer favorite, Meat loaf and 2 sides ("smashed potatoes" and baby carrots). My wife had fried tomatoes over cheese grits. The servings were large enough, unfortunately, we had no room for dessert. If you're looking for a place to eat, try the Side Tacked Cafe. It's well worth the stop.

My wife & I returned for an evening out & it was most enjoyable. The service was exceptional with an excellent wine list. I had she crab soup which was very good & a seafood trio special which was a crab cake, shrimp & lobster tail all of which were most delicious. A bottle of â The Snitchâ Chardonnay by the Prisoner vineyards paired quite well. We look forward to returning soon.

Awesome meat & three! We had lunch outside on the porch and enjoyed a nice breeze on a beautiful day. The service was excellent and attentive, and the food was everything you'd want and more. Good ole southern cooking and desserts to die for!

Important Notice We are closed at our College Ave location. Our new building is under construction at Patrick Square. We will be open early Spring 2018 with a bigger and better facility to serve you better. Thank you for your support. See you soon
The service was slow although the restaurant was not crowded. We waited several minutes to be seated as several waitresses buzzed by, without even a Hello. Food, however was very tasty and interesting. Local eggs from local farms. Home-made jellies and jams. Would rate a 5 if customer service was better. Very economical.
