South Bohemia (Czech: Jihočeský kraj) is an administrative unit (kraj) of the Czech Republic, located mostly in the southern part of its historical land of Bohemia, with a small part in southwestern Moravia. The western part of the South Bohemian Region is former Prachens (Prácheňsko), a huge archaic region with distinctive features with its capital, Písek. In 2011, there were 623 municipalities in the region, whereof 54 had a status of town.

I had high expectations of the restaurant. The soup was excellent as was the dessert. My main course was, however, disappointing. The duck dish was only ok and no better than elsewhere where it would have been half the price. The others were luckier with the pheasant. It wasn't the best meal I had in the Czech Republic but it was the most expensive. Overall it is overrated.

We ate here for dinner because it was conveniently attached to our hotel, and it was raining. Service was okay and food was average. The restaurant is in a building constructed in the 1500's, so the atmosphere was interesting, with very thick walls and alcoves built in.

Stunning Terrace with old town and castle overwiev, international cuisine - steaks, home-made pasta, salads, ribs, wings, the Finest Czech and European wines. Come and try!
We tried to come here on the new year’s eve without making a reservation, but unfortunately the place is all booked out. So we came back for lunch on the following day also without making reservation, and were fortunate enough to get a table. The place was still busy on New Year’s day.
Service was very good. The waiter and waitresses are friendly, polite, patient and efficient.
We ordered pork ribs (the portion was huge) and the spaghetti with ham and pesto sauce. The food was good. The ribs were juicy.
Price is inexpensive and the ambience is casual.
I definitely recommend this restaurant. Keep up the good work.

Busy time trying to get a good restaurant in Cesky Krumlov due to a conference booking out a lot of places .This appeared to be good on the service but although staff were courteous and reasonably attentive food was forgettable Italian fare ( our group tried lasagna, penne and pizzas and apart from their own pizza Nonna Gina very average taste and presentation ) .
Seated upstairs and quite hot and stuffy and when our window wouldn't open waiter shrugged and said "broken".
We had to go downstairs to select our wine by pointing to the bottle ( as there was no wine list !) .We didn't recognise the particular small selection they had but took a vague recommendation from our waitress and when we requested a further bottle for out group were told no more and we would have to go down stairs to select again!

We would like to invite you to our Supina and Supinka restaurants. Please feel free to come and enjoy the extraordinary experience. The region of Trebon evokes beautiful south Bohemian countryside full of meadows in blossom, scented with and full of life of growing Forests, beneficial peatlands and ponds teeming with the most various species of Freshwater fish in minds. We believe we are still able to perceive our environment through our all senses fully and entirely. Our hearts and the philosophy of our restaurants deeply reflect this piece of the South Bohemian countryside and love to it. Enjoy the region of Trebon through all senses! No matter if you are served "carnivorous" pike being pleasing to the eye, "elegant" zander with herbs prepared on our lava grill smelling charmingly or "mysterious" eel tasting delicious ...Continuing with more than 20 years of tradition and experience, we are now the second generation of the Mullers to run the family business. We pride ourselves on our friendly approach to our guests and we feel highly obliged if all our guests are satisfied in our restaurant. We believe that everybody has his/ her own "scale" bringing good luck ...We look forward to seeing you at Supina and Supinka restaurants, enjoy your meal!
Visited upon friends' recommendation. Very nicely decorated. My carp and potato salad were fine, but the portion was small. Husband's chicken roulade was served on a huge portion of barely risotto. Expensive compared to other restaurants. No English menu & limited English among staff.

Lovely Tea House in charming quiet monastery garden. Come to enjoy great cup of tea, wide selection of shishas and vegetarian dishes prepared with utmost care. In sommer with amazing refreshing cold drinks&coctails out on the Terrace overlooking the old monastery garden. Non-smoking room, children friendly. Up a side alley across Krumlov castle main entrance gate.
It is a relaxing and comfortable tea house in CK. I suggest you to come after visiting the tower. There were many types of tea and I chose Yogi tea finally as I thought it was relative special for me as a Chinese. It indeed tasted good . I stayed in the tea house for hours for resting.

A creative concept of gastronomy and a certain influence of ,,Cuisine vitale" - that is how one might describe our creative aim and the certain ,,je ne sais quoi", which personifies the creators of the project. Our cuisine is international, complemented by modern lightened Czech gastronomy. The design of the interior and the service, the creation of a festive atmosphere, undivided attention and professional care from our personnel, unobtrusive compliments to our visitors - these principles are a whatchword for us, which we attempt to bear in mind as the host at all moments of contact with our guests.
Excellent indeed! We have enjoyed a delicious dinner paired with a beautiful Czech wine. The setup is very nice, cosy, yet classy and the staff very nice and attentive. Definitely recommending if the budget allows. Full dinner for 2 & wine can easily mount up in the range if 150-200 EUR. It was delicious indeed and we have enjoyed it but it does feel slightly overpriced. I looked online for the wine we had and it sells in retail for 3 times less the price we paid for it here. Also the bill included a 7% service charged (which is clearly stated upfront) but at the bottom of the bill it also says that tips are not included. This was a bit confusing. It still gets the highest mark as it does set itself apart from the other places we’ve eaten in Cesky Krumlov and don’t regret overspending by going there.

The food was absolutely superb and it was a lovely relaxed place to hang out. Really, anything else to make up 100 characters is just padding.

Had a lunch with the family. Very freidly staff, clean facilities. The food was simple but tasty and the own brewed beer was really good.
