Mediterranean inspired share plates using the best of Kangaroo Islands produce. Located 1km from Stokes Bay overlooking the bay. Open seasonally from October
My daughter and I had a lovely lunch and a nice local wine Wally White from the Islander Estate Vineyards. The arancini balls were fantastic as was the spicy chicken wings, sadly we were disappointed with the salt and pepper squid only 7 tiny pieces at $18 (see photo).Other than that the service was friendly and we didnât have to wait long for our food, the setting is also lovely looking over Stokes Bay

The heart of Barossa hospitality, 1918 Bistro & Grill occupies a 100 year old home boasting roaring open fires. The charming ambience, hearty fare and friendly service has long been enjoyed by Barossans. Our iconic restaurant is a must visit for anyone se
There is so much to like about this restaurant. We went on a lovely warm evening and were seated on the verandah. There is a lovely lush garden that creates a lovely relaxing, calm atmosphere. The service was friendly, knowledgable and efficient. The best of all the food was exceptional! From entee to dessert each dish was beautifuly and had amazing flavours. We will be back.

In a prime location in the centre of a town busy with visitors and sporting a very modern look, this is a business that should be outstanding. The service was very mediocre - on two occasions we had to remind staff of our "lost" orders. The local wines were substantially marked up compared to other local restaurants. If the wine list, selection process, cellar ambience service was exceptional you might excuse the prices but none of those attributes applied. We chose the "Chef's selection" of five courses and were under whelmed when the first arrived with "Dill Cucumbers" that were tiny vinegar soaked gerkins imported from somewhere rather than the easily available local product. There were no memorable flavours -0h well yes - the gin flavoured icecream is certainly something I will avoid in future! With so many regional food options across the Valley, Musque needs to find a point of difference and work on it. 300 Gins available is not enough

Friendly service and delicious cakes. I had a tart that was custard with stewed fruit and crumble on top. Different and yum! Would recommend

Not much in Lyndoch, but if you are there do yourself an enormous favour and go to this place for dinner. The chef , James, is exceptional, could be cooking anywhere he wants, but here is is.I'm a gnocchi nazzi, he'd made it that morning , and seriously, it was so light and smooth I couldn't believe it.If he has made pasta , just have it , he is brilliant. That aside everything else he did was exceptional. We cancelled highly rated places to go back to him.And you can have breakfast and lunch too........................all brilliant. This is not a cafe, it is an wonder .James, keep up the brilliant work, and your great staff.Hey Mark,Thanks for your lovely review. We love having guests like you who understand that what we do we do with love. Hope to see you back again next time you visit the Barossa :-)
