After a leisurely stroll through the beautiful riverside gardens, a light lunch at the Victoria was just what we needed to complete a wonderfully relaxing afternoon with friends. The food was great, the staff were great and we were allowed to take our time at the outdoor tables where our dogs were able to collapse in the shade.

Popped in on a Sunday evening, following a recommendation. Glad we did.Good range of foods on menu and busy enough to know that that weâd made right decision.I went for a Caesar Salad and thoroughly enjoyed.Friendly service and will return when next in area.

We decided to try the chicken schnitzel and chips in takeaway. Very disappointing. Waited an extremely long time (I think they forgot us - even though we were sitting in the shop). Had to complain in the end. When we got home the schnitzel was cold and unappetizing, the chips were cold and HARD. Very disappointing meal and not cheap. Would not recommend.
