Called in for coffees and shelter on a wet and windy winterâs day. We got a cheerful welcome from the staff behind the counter. Itâs a small cosy and warming place. The coffees were fine and we look forward to returning to try their lovely looking food.

The family and I loved our lunch at this cafe. With hot dogs under $10, and options for sausages, sauerkraut, pretzel and salad plates for $14, this place is great value for money. We enjoyed choosing different sausage options, and also appreciated the gluten free bun options for the hot dogs. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed the seafood chowder with soda bread. The soup was filled with seafood and vegetables. The soda bread was rich and dense, the best we have had for many years. The meal was satisfying and delicious. We followed it with good coffee. I recommend The Plough, Hahndorf for lunch and coffee.

Herbees is a very pleasant cafe situated on the Main Street of Hahndorf.It has a nice balcony facing the Main Street inside seating and relaxing garden seating Itâs a bit quirky with ornaments and decorations throughout the place.Coffee was good as was the strudel and scones.Herbees has an extensive Vegan menu.Nice and quiet not many bike riders around, good service and reasonable prices.Bathrooms available.

had breakfast at Hornet's Nest with the family and it couldn't have been better. We were made to feel comfortable and welcome by the staff, the menu offered a variety of taste experiences, the servings were generous and the food was delivered nicely presented and hot. The cafe has a good ambience about it and is in a nice spot.I think we have a new favourite breakfast spot!

Husband loves the egg and bacon croissant as these guys are not butter shy. Croissant buttered top and bottom ("how it should be"...he says). Coffee at good temp. I thought it a little tasteless but Sir considered it good. Not worth a special trip as its located in a shopping hub but worth dropping in if you're here shopping and need refuelling!

I had breakfast here with two friends. It has a lovely atmosphere and the food and coffee were both excellent. I ordered the smashed avo with poached egg, as did my friend, and my other friend ordered poached eggs on toast with bacon. All of our eggs were perfectly poached, cooked with runny yokes! The avo on toast was very generous and super tasty. The bread was really nice but tasted quite sweet so had me a little worried about calorie content but who cares - it was yum! Not too expensive and didnât take too long to come. Coffee was perfect too, didnât even need sugar. Would go back.
