We have been to this restaurant a couple of times now and it was surprisingly busy for Sunday nights. We managed to secure a table but it was almost full both times. They were quick to take the drinks order and left enough time for us to choose from the extensive menu. The food was hot and tasty. Iâm looking forward to working my way through the menu

Last night we called through a take away order for 2 serves of Wok Fried Seafood Laksa Egg and Vegetable Noodle Soup and a single serve of Wok Fried Noodle Chicken Satay Peanut & Coconut Sauce with Vegetables. The order was ready in 15 minutes, as promised. The serves of Seafood Laksa were so generous that we had to use salad bowls to contain the contents, seriously good value and full of flavour. The Wok Fried Noodle Chicken Satay was also a large serve, our daughter could only get through half of it and has taken the remainder to school for lunch today. She's a fussy eater but had no complaints. They also have a specials board so check that out when you visit or ask about it when you call for take away.

Mildly spiced food. Tasty. A little pricey though. Recommended. We tried crispy combination noodles, salt and pepper prawns and roti canai with chicken. The chicken with roti Icecream wasnât that good - was a combination of coconut and potato - not my thing though. The fried icecream was good.

Went there off the cuff on a Saturday night. The place was buzzing and after a lengthy wait we were eventually seated. This seemed to be the order of the night, lengthy waits and poor service. The food was the winner of the night, tasty dishes but not sure the Phuket is worth it.

I am quite a picky eater but the dishes recommended to me were absolutely delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. I went with some friends and we shared a few dishes, can honestly say it's the best Thai place I've been to. Am definitely going to come back soon.

Buzzy Saturday evening with out-of-towners enjoying well executed Viet-Chinese classics with a drink or two, adapted for the market. Don't expect too much chili, Vietnamese herbs and spices, but they do have authentic Vietnamese coffee. Lighter style of food is a welcome point of difference from the pizza-pasta-burgers-thai and everything-with-chips dominating the beachside strip. Service is extremely friendly fast and welcoming. Will be back.

We booked the back room out for a family birthday dinner for 23 people and had a wonderful night. The room was cosy with candles on the tables and all requests were met with ease. We pre-ordered entrees which came out at exactly the right time with our guests then ordering their own main course. BYO is very reasonable and allows for some independence when it comes to serving wine. The salt and pepper squid is delish, always tender and tasty. The chicken satays are really good as they use chicken thigh and make their own gluten free peanut sauce. In fact everything is gluten free except for the spring rolls and curry puffs, as you would expect.Great food and warm, friendly service where nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Sabai for a fantastic night.Thank you for you very kind review!Your group was very easy to manage and that made our service so much easier. We enjoyed the night just as much as you did! :)Kindest regardsSabai :)

Last dined here in January 2017 which we enjoyed and this time around was no exception. Dined with 10 friends on a busy Saturday night. Service was exceptional and was such a good idea providing everyone with separate plates with entree (we all ordered the banquet) & not having to share entree food which is often the case in other restaurants. All staff so friendly and efficient, restaurant atmosphere was great, delicious food.....what more can I say! Weâll be back sooner rather than later!

This was not a very good restaurant. The service was very average with one of the waiters spending most of his time watching a football match on the television, even when taking orders. The staff had to be called over for everything from getting water to replenishing drinks. The place is very noisy and so conversations at one end of the table were just not able to be heard at the other. As for the food - well the grilled lamb was good but not just well matched at all to coleslaw. And it took over an hour for the meals to arrive! It was generally not a good experience and so it is difficult to match this with other very positive reviews - clearly it is a bit hit or miss, and unfortunately we missed.I am sorry you didn't enjoy your experience at The Mediterranean as we pride ourselves on good food and service. Can you please get in touch with me so I can take it further and properly train my staff. We would like you to give us another go as that is not what The Mediterranean is about.Chris
