We decided to eat here simply because a table was available.I had Gardeners chicken my wife chose moussaka. Both meals were excellent although the chicken would easily have fed two. Lovely sauce on the chicken and the moussaka was authentic. Red and White House wines both good and prices all round reasonable. Very pleasant waitress spoke good English.

We went to Hora on night, and didn't fancy eating at the side of the alleys with people pushing past constantly. We spotted a sign for Thea and went to have a look. We sat on a terrace with views around the town. Service was prompt and friendly, the food was superb, and the house wine was good enough to earn a second jug. All this for a very reasonable price. If you don't want to go to Greece to eat pizza while being jostled by passers-by, find Thea and have a relaxed, tasty, cheap meal.
Our last night on Amorgos we came here to try the brizolakia, pork steaks served the traditional way on wax paper. Delicious. Perfectly grilled and served with hand cuts circular chips. The whole experience was one of tradition with Greek music playing and locals singing. Not to be missed.
Amazing place! We had a nice late night souvlaki there and I forgot my wallet on the pier. Got an email from the owners the next day saying the found it. Fantastic people and good food!
