Markakis Restaurant

Was there a few days ago with friends enjoying the sun, sea and seafood. As our aim was to have seafood cuisine and that was exactly what we had. I highly recommend Guna which is a mackerel dish, marinated octopus and mussels. Seriously amazing! The octopus was cooked very well. The balsamic in the salad that we had tasted like there was a hint of coffee in it. Was delicious. My favourite was the Guna fish.

Cactus Restaurant

I only wish we'd had longer in Parikia so that we could have had another meal at Cactus!! The food was fantastic, the cocktails THE best in Parikia, and the hosting was great. They can't do enough for you. So friendly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. I'm a huge lover of Mexican / Tex-Mex food and this did not disappoint. I hope we will be back!!

Levantis

I made a reservation at Levantis before arriving in Greece because it had such great reviews - I wasn't disappointed. I arrived early by Greek standards, so it was literally just me and the wait staff. I ordered one of their cocktails (which one, escapes me!) - it was refreshing and delicious! I skipped the appetizer because experience has shown that all meals in Greece are served in gigantic portions and I needed to save room for dessert. I mean, it's the most important meal of the day! I decided to order the manti, which is a dish I've had in Turkey. Typically, these are tiny ravioli served in a tomato sauce and yogurt and it's delicious. Levantis had a different spin on the dish, and it was great. Rather then serve mini ravioli, they chose to make a larger version of these, served in a lot less sauce. The ravioli were delicious and the sauce was good - I would have liked more on the plate, though. For me, the portion was perfect. Less wouldn't have been enough and more would have been too much. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate soufflé and it was absolutely perfect and well worth the 15 minute wait!My waitress was attentive and friendly. The price point was very reasonable for the quality and calibre of the food. The setting is great - they have a beautiful, fresh terrace what overhanging vines (?) that create an awesome, relaxed vibe.
