Discover Restaurants offering the best Seafood food in Oia, South Aegean, Greece. Oia is carved out of the cliffs, and visitors can see houses built for Venetian sea captains as well as the more typical "cave houses" of the villagers. You’ll find the pure white buildings with colorful roofs that are typical of Greek architecture, and you’ll probably enjoy poking around the town. But don’t breeze through in an hour—you must stay for the sunset. It’s legendary. Watch from a café, or, better yet, from a boat—you’ll be spellbound.

This restaurantâs terrace dining has an unobstructed view of the famous Oia sunset. The food is delicious and prices moderate in comparison to prices charged at other sunset view restaurants in Oia. It is located just outside of the main tourist area but easy to get to by bus or taxi. If by bus, you need to make sure you get on one that stops there ( some go direct to bus station) and tell the driver in advance to stop. The food is worth going out of your way a little and seeing the sunset while relaxing and dining away from the crowds is an unforgettable experience. We stayed at a place across the street for 3 nights and had food there all three nights ( not because of convenience but because it was THAT good) One night we dined in, the other two we did take out back to our hotel. They gave us free bread in the last night! Recommend highly the grilled calamari and mussels with ouzo sauce but all choices are good.

Roka offers a very good modern take on traditional Greek food. The service is friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is casual and cozy . What impressed me was there were interesting ingredient combinations that made sense and tasted delicious. That may sound like an obvious expectation, but after several meals in Greece at well-reviewed places where that wasnât the case ( for example - ingredients in a salad that sounded good individually, but didnât meld together into a unified dish), it was a pleasure. My fish was also better here than a fish dish I had at an Ammoudi seaside restaurant. We sat outside , which was fine, until it got quite chilly. The server brought not only one , but three blankets for me-which did the trick. He showed that hospitality can be gracious and fun.

At Elinikon you can find greek and local cuisine along with local wine and raki. Located in a quite area with panoramic view and coloureful sunsets! You will find it opposite the traditional winmdill of Oia.
After reading the reviews I was very excited about this restaurant, but the food was pretty disappointing. I suggest ordering the melted cheese appetizer. That was delicious! But everything else fell flat and I barely ate the goat confit that was recommended by our server. All that said, it gets 4/5 for the absolutely picture perfect views during sunset. Make your reservation in advance for a sunset table on the balcony/rooftop and you will not be disappointed. Just don't go in expecting the best meal of your trip.

We visited this restaurant during our stay at Oia. The food was a delight not just to look at but also to eat. The walk to the restaurant is about 100 steps each way but itâs completely worth it once you dine there. Itâs on the expensive side but we were celebrating a special occasion and so we didnât mind the price for that reason. The staff was very professional and friendly at the same time.Dear Goozneha,Thank you so much for your wonderful review and for taking the time to share it with TripAdvisor Community. We are excited to read that you had a nice experience and you enjoyed the breathtaking Caldera's Views, our food as well as our Team Efforts to makes your visit memorable.Kindly note that we will share your words with the entire Black Rock Team. Long before Santorini became known as one of the worldâs most popular destinations, Oia was a small village with 306 inhabitants, located at the northern edge of the caldera. Lauda, built on this rock in 1971, was the villageâs ï¬rst restaurant. It was the
My wife who has allergies has eaten at many Michelin star restaurants. In every case, we make sure to provide the allergies ahead of time so there is ample time to accommodate. We provided at least 3 days of advanced notice, yet we're told we couldn't be accommodated.I think the chef was simply too lazy to prepare something special.

Pelekanos was the suggestion of our hotel Anassa when we told them of our plan to walk from Firá to Oia this afternoon and have a nice meal watching the sunset. The walk was spectacular, the food quite nice but pricey due to the location (rooftop terrace with 360deg view), sunset was not so spectacular. The most memorable part of our meal was the attentive kindness of the waiting staff especially Pantelis who made our evening an even more enjoyable one. Thank you.Thank you very much for the good feedback !!!We hope to see you again and we wish you wonderful holidays in GreeceSincerelyThe Pelekanos Restaurant Team

We celebrated our 3rd Marriage Anniversary with a dinner at Lycabettus and our experience was outstanding. Firstly, the view is what we went for. Sitting there, enjoying our lovely dinner and taking in the breathtaking view. It was so good you can't describe it in words. Secondly, we were blown away by the gastronomic experience, thanks to the staff for explaining everything in detail and to the chef for preparing and presenting the most wonderful dishes & dessert. I ordered short rib, other half ordered chicken breast and this unique dessert (that I can't remember) and we loved all of it. The way it was made and explained made it a very enlightening experience and that is something you can hardly ever say about a meal. Every dish, came with a pre-dish which was also very surprising and the cherry on top were the gourmet candies that they sent us for our celebration. It was very thoughtful and we thank you for that!Overall, the experience is something you got to be there to understand and its a must visit especially if you want to celebrate a special occasion. My other half and I loved it and we will surely visit if we revisit Santorini again. Keep up the good work guys!Dear Guest,It is an honor for us to read through your review at Tripadvisor, how muchyou enjoyed your anniversary dinner at Lycabettus Restaurant.Thank you for taking the time to write your experience and your opinion about our service and our menu.We all wish to welcome you soon back in majestic Santorini and Lycabettus Restaurant, the most beautiful balcony of the world.Kind Regards,Nadia Georgantopoulou

I emailed the restaurant on September 14th to make a reservation for September 30th. I was told to call the restaurant when I arrived and they would try and accommodate us. My impression was that they receive lots of requests for a reservation and will only confirm once you arrive in Santorini. At no time did I suspect the reservation would be a problem. I emailed and called when we arrived, after a couple of hours of calling someone answered and told me no, they could not accommodate us. The gentleman was quite rude and abrupt and made me feel like an idiot for wasting his time. If I had been informed ahead of time, I could have made a reservation at another restaurant, but this was handled very poorly. I now believe the restaurant knew I would be on some sort of waiting list, but never indicated to me that they were fully booked. Felt like they cared more about filling the restaurant and having a waiting list than taking care of customers - a very poor customer experience. There are so many great restaurants in Santorini that treat their customers well, why put up with this kind of abuse.

If youâre looking for a beach to spend the day at, youâve found it. Yalos is essentially a trendy beach club with its own private beach, serving awesome cocktails and great food. The restaurant setting is pretty special. The kitchen is actually in a cave built into the cliffs, right on the beach. The day beds and cabanas available for hire are so comfortable, you can spend an entire day lounging here. The seated tables are free of charge. We didnât expect to eat here, but we were having such a nice and relaxing day that we decided to stay for the whole afternoon. I am glad we decided to stay for lunch because otherwise we wouldâve missed out on a great meal. Yalos does it all well. And the service was super friendly. If youâre right on the beach, you should be ordering seafood. Which is what we did. The mussels in white wine was a nice change and the stuffed squid was perfectly tender. They also do non-seafood dishes, the saffron risotto was a winner. We visited in September 2018 so this is a late review but I am trying to make an effort to recommend my favourite places we visited on our Europe trip!
