I was unlucky enough to experience greek rain during my last holiday. I mean, seriously, it is Greece, it shouldn't be raining there. I have enough of it in London. Anyhow, because of the rain, I took refuge in Fanos cafe and liked it so much, I was going there daily while relaxing on beautiful Fanos beach. Lovely place: beautiful setting, usual good greek service and great choice of drinks and food. You can actually spend all day there on their sun loungers rather than worry about beach mats and stuff. Recommended!

Its all about the view and no other reason to eat here, My rooms were next door so i wasn't impressed. The food was classic greek fish food. They sell fish by the kilo 50 to 60 euros according to the type. I find this over the top.

I love the food here, it's very good for a beach place, and fairly priced. The service is ultra slow, but ok if you're not in a hurry

The food and fresh fish are very good at this restaurant and it is a lovely place to enjoy a meal with a great view. Of all the places we ate during our stay in Koufonissi, here had the largest selection of fresh fish. it is a large restaurant and gets very busy and results in pretty hectic service at times. The staff are friendly but quite stretched when the restaurant is full. We dined here three times during our stay on the island and would use again. We all enjoy different environments, so you should try their hospitality.

We stayed at Anna's Villas, and ate in 5 or 6 restaurants in Koufonissi, including several reviewed in Trip Advisor, but this was best for food and service.
Still there is more and more tourists coming to this pearl of island, this restaurant stays genuine. The family run tavern is great! Great atmosphere, the female owner always with a smile on her face and the food make you smile. A must go if on Koufonisi. And I hope they never change, this is one of the best places on earth.

It was a wonderful experience having dinner at Aneplora. The location is stunning, just 10 mins away from the Chora in front of the little fishermen harbour. The food was superb and the service very friendly and efficient.Prices more reaseonable. It was definitely one of our best meals we had during our two week Cyclades vacation. Reccomended!

We found Nikitouri by chance as we were exploring the village during our first days on Koufonissi, it is located at the end of the road to the post office and has no through traffic passing it. After our first visit it became our most visited eatery, due to the quality of food, wine, service and friendliness, We ate many things from the menu from the giant beans, salads, meats and fish. The fish is fresh, albeit of limited choice, and the food is fresh and well presented. The guys who serve you are friendly and happy to suggest and explain items that were being offered from the kitchen. It appears to be popular with a regular group of clients as we regularly saw the same faces during our visits.I would definitely recommend Nikitouri for food quality, service, value and enjoyable atmosphere in which to enjoy your evening dinner.

This is a wonderful family run restaurant with superb, authentic Italian food. The owners are warm , welcoming and obviously care about providing the best for diners. In addition, they are the founders of a cat welfare charity "Cats of Koufonissi" which raises funds for food and vetinary provision for the many stray cats on the island. Will definitely go again on our return to Koufonissi.thank you very much from us and the cats ;-)

Armira kai pioto (saltiness and drink) is a newly opened restaurant that combines the authentic atmosphere of a traditional tavern with the surprising selections of quite a few inspired plates offered.
This was a great experience. The respect for traditional local ingredients and influences shines from the food at this classy but well-priced tsipouradiko. All the main dishes are carefully described, with sources of the ingredients. The staff know the details and are happy to explain if needed. The list of drinks shows careful selection from a few high quality sources. I recommend you take the mystery tour of the mezedes "rounds", where you choose from meat, seafood or vegetable and receive 2-3 small plates that depend on the market and the season. The quality of the cooking is shown by the simplest dishes: perfect fava with fruity oil; delicate armyra (as in the restaurant name) - succulent, feathery greens (horta). You could have an excellent meal just from the "rounds". We also had main courses of local kid (goat) in two different dishes - delicate and delicious. Beware that the main courses are very generous portions, so don't overdo the mezedes (like we did). Not cheap but excellent value for this quality of cooking.

Mikres Cyclades restaurant was born out of our desire to offer simple, yet delicious Greek and Mediterranean food in the paradise-like setting of Ano Koufonisi. Our menu perfectly balances classic and creative flavor combinations and includes meat, seafoo
