Superb salad and whatever we ordered was to our satisfaction. Today it was full reserved and perhaps the service was bit downgraded. Some of the ordered food never came, plates were not changed while it was hard to get their attention for orders. However I have to admit that whatever we ordered was tasty . Will give them another try for sure .

Our restaurant- offering meze, creative and standard greek cuisine -was until 2017 hidden in an alley of Batsi. Since May 2018, it has been relocated on the seaside promenade with a terrace and even a few tables right on the sea front. The dishes are still
This little place is right on the front in Batsi, so you might think it could be a bit touristy but not a bit of it. The man who runs it is absolutely delightful and we had lovely food. We didn't want a big meal so we just had local cheese, pork and spicy sausages and it was just perfect. The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the olive oil, which makes the local Andros cheese even more delish when you mix them together and the proprietor is VERY proud of it because it's made by his own family from their own olives. All washed down with very passable house wine and a complimentary yoghurt with cherry syrup. A great evening.

Two visits - Good service - very good food: baked feta in filo dough with honey, Andros salad, grilled anchovies, grilled swordfish, grilled oktopus, grilled calamari, grilled stuffed calamari.(It was so good, we came back - ;-))

A nice restaurant by the sea, nice and decent plates but some highlights such us the big skewers are too expensive for the portion. The starters and salads are very nice but the main dishes are very typical. Good choice for the area but not nothing special. Service can be improved.

We had the shrimp spaghetti and calamari which were both amazing. The waiter was very friendly and brought us a complimentary dessert. Itâs reasonably priced and has amazing views.

Five of us unanimously chose this restaurant for a special meal out together and we were not disappointed, knowing that a master chef was in attendance.Lovely evening views across Batsi harbour whilst eating a huge, perfectly cooked steak served with chips, salad and peppercorn sauce. (Nb this is listed as âvealâ but is beef for sure)Four of us had the steak, the other a chicken dish cooked on a skewer served with salad. We are all healthy eaters and all struggled to finish because of the very generous portions, we could not leave a single delicious mouthful and then heroically still managed the wonderful banoffee pie provided on the house.Bottled cold Methos is served here in frosted glasses and the house red is quite acceptable.Service is delightfully relaxed and there is never a rush to move you on at the end of your meal.Slightly more expensive than several of the neighbouring restaurants, but absolutely worth every penny.

From the perspective of a vegetarian, there wasnât much going on, so we ended up going for something called âpatatinas with yoghurt sauceâ or something similar and âsmoked aubergine with local cheeseâ. The latter consisted of a small disc of aubergine mash with a tail of grilled cheese and a swish of pepper sauce. It was ok. The former turned out to be homemade crisps (British) or chips (America) with a small pot of yoghurt. It was all a bit greasy and not particularly what we wanted. This rather unassuming quantity of food, washed down with two beers, came to 17 euros, which I felt was a little too much.

A nice place, just opposite the beachfront of Batsi. The food is average. Some dishes were delicious (village salad) and some others very bad.Bread was not fresh and was charged 4â¬!The prices are high compated to what you eat.Needs reservation!!Do not try the chicken. It was almost raw!

The Dolphins restaurant is located in Andros in the beautiful seaside village of Batsi just above the sea road at the top of the double stairs. It's a family business operating since 1986. Enjoy traditional greek dishes, homemade specialities of Andros, a
Stopped for a late lunch. Staff were very friendly and food was excellent. Good choice of dishes and drinks. Waitress also gave good advice on local public transport and things to do on the island - very knowledgable. Great harbour views from the restaurant. To be recommended.

Typical Greek restaurant with good food, but generally not standing out from the other ones.Service is a bit hurried, due to the huge number of table to serve.I would not plan a trip to Batsì just to dine here.
