Wonderful family run place, simple and very Greek. Fresh local fish at reasonable prices. White eggplants, local specialty, served being marinated with herbs. Very nice family, relaxed ambience, beautiful views. So different from the other upscale place on the same beach, where carpaccio and other "gourmet" dishes set up the trend. This place is devoted to Greek cousine.

A tavern restaurant with greek cuisine, seafood, fresh fish, variety of spagheties, meat and different rice dishes.
Reasonably priced and delicious seafood and mousakka. The waiter and chef were fun and friendly. Located right on the edge of the ocean with great views out to sea.

Santorini... Akrotiri beach... By the sea, lies for many years a small, traditional cave, build by Uncle Nikolas with his own hands when he was young. Made with lots of love and passion, the cave offered a kind of shelter to himself and his little boat. A
Calamari SO good we ordered a second. We ate it with only lemon on it, even though the dipping sauce they provided was also really tasty. The grilled eggplant was also a stand out. The 1/2 liter wine is served ice cold and in a cute metal container. Very friendly staff, nice place for a long leisurely lunch. Our B & B hostess Katerina recommended this restaurant and it was spot on.

Our tavern opened in 2000 and since then it remains a family run traditional tavern, focused on offering Santorini visitors the best that Greek cuisine has to offerAuthentic Greek tavern , with an elegant decoration , a warm and attending service and an a
This little roadside taverna gets great reviews because they make standard Greek taverna food but do it very well with much of the produce coming from their own farm. But the reason I would come back is that they have a little shop attached to the restaurant where they sell loads of interesting produce from their own farm - jams, pickles, sauces.I bought a jar or marmalade which was simply the best I have ever had in my life.It had huge chunks of orange peel in and that is exactly the way I like my marmalade, I can still taste it now!

Canât say enough nice things about Sofia, vallie and every single person working at the beach club and restaurant . So warm and accommodating, we had the best time and we ended up going twice because we couldnât find another beach club or area as beautifully run or exquisite as Akro. The food, drinks and service were impeccable. The drive is exciting and the views are jaw dropping. Put down your phone and jump into the beautiful water! As an American, it was nice going somewhere that felt very European and wasnât crowded with American tourists. This place is a gem!

Good family run taverna. While the menu is generally standard Greek taverna, there are a couple of more interesting menu items such as the âdrunken chickenâ and prawns with garlic and ginger. We visited here a few times and were always impressed with the simple quality.

Excellent food! Gorgeous sea front view! Definitely recommend. My husband had the traditional Greek burger and fries which were delicious (note burger does not come on a bun). I had the chicken penne which was also fabulous! And canât beat the view.

We (group of 4 friends) dined here for dinner and it was great! We shared a platter of appetisers which had a great selection of dips, tomato fritters and other Greek traditional foods. We then had the lamp chops and Mousakka for mains which were great. The mousakka was different from other ones we had tried before, it wasnât as saucy but still lots of flavour! The waiter was so lovely and brought us out yoghurt and homemade grape marmalade as a desert. Taverna Glaros was such a beautiful evening for our group of friends and would highly recommend if you are in Santorini!

Melina's Tavern invite you to taste the best food Santorini has to offer. Enjoy the traditional dishes, the wine and the sea is right at your feet whilst you eat. The atmosphere of Akrotiri, once part of the Minoan civilization centuries ago gives a mysti

Alali Restaurant is located inside Astarte Suites Hotel and offers a dining experience for every taste. Its unique location on the rim of the Caldera of Santorini ensures of stunning views.
The new chef at the Alali restaurant in the Astarti luxury hotel has created a number of culinary original masterpieces. In the relaxed ambiance by the pool, overlooking the Santorini Caldera our company of five shared a number of delicious starters, main courses and deserts. And of course white and red wines from Santorini. It is really hard to make a decsion which plates I should recommend as everything I tasted was mouth watering but if I have to name a few : Starters 1. the sea bass with tarama and crispy rice, 2. the local tomatini salad with mango and jalapenio and 3. the Gyoza with fava. Main course. My own selection, the Lamb Fricasee with Sea Letuce and the choice of my wife, the Tuna with white eggplant puree. For deserts I can only suggest that you taste all three....hahahahaha Enjoy
