This restaurant is located in the heart of Megalochori. The place is lovely, beautiful decoration with nice music where you can enjoy and feel you are in Greece. The staff were all very friendly and I was given a very warm welcome every time I went there. The waiter was very kind, attentive and I was well looked after. He also knows very well the area, so you can get some great advise from him. The food was absolutely top quality and very tasteful, they have a great menu in many languages, you cannot go wrong with the dishes, they are all pretty yummy and portions are generous. Pasta with shrimps, Greek salad, squid ... everything was delicious! and I had the best moussaka ever. To finish, the coffee is really good too.Thank you so much for giving me such a lovely time in Santorini.Definitely highly recommend this restaurant!!

We visited this restaurant when we arrived in the area and loved the look of it.We ordered a kebab (which was very posh) and my husband said he loved it. I ordered the rice and the mussels and the flavours were really really good but it was such a tiny portion that I left the restaurant absolutely starving. The service was fast and the lady was polite, correct and very attentive which we really appreciated.I rated 3 stars to this restaurant because for a 14⬠main dish I dont think I should leave hungry. Also in EVERY restaurant we have visited while in Greece, they always offer you a little dessert and a drink with the bill and that never happened in this place (especially when you spend 40⬠in 2 main dishes and 2 soft drinks)

Welcome to Aroma Avlis Food & Wine where the authentic taste of Santorini and the Mediterranean exalted by the freshness and unique quality ingredients. Immaculate tastes, finely paired with the exquisite wines of our winery find their ultimate rendition
Beautiful place to enjoy dinner. The grounds are gorgeous and the restaurant is intimate and charming. There were so many amazingly delicious courses including Santorini salad, traditional Greek salad, a trio of dips including beetroot "salad", tzatziki, and eggplant "salad", olives, mushrooms, and a main course of fresh sea bass, mashed root vegetables and steamed broccoli.Unfortunately, the wine was not as good as the food... and the servers did not seem interested in serving much of it. After the wine tasting, the servers poured us one full glass of wine but never came back to ask us if we wanted more.

'Selene' restaurant was established in 1986 in Fira, Santorini by Yiorgos and Evelyn Hatziyannakis. Our aim was from the very start, to show and promote the local products along with the local cuisine hoping that this will enable us to transmit to our gue
Every visit to Santorini includes a dinner in Selene Restaurant. Although the expectations are higher every year we have never been deceived. Comes may, begins the tension to see what the new menu will bring. It is simply amazing how they manage to find a high skilled chef every year. This year ouyr minds were blown away by the octopus (starter) and the pigeon (main). With the selected wine (by the glass) a perfect match ! As for desert : their interpretaion of 'cake' - that's the simple description on the menu- proves how much research is invested in this restaurant.Small portions, utterly high in taste, visually very attractive, a story to every wine on the elaborate list, worth every euro...Thank you Selene for another fantastic culinary experience!

We went to this restaurant on the recommendation from our hotel manager. We didnât get disappointed. The food was great, the service was friendly and professional. The sunset view was spectacular. We ordered Santorini salad, tzatziki, smoked eggplant, local sausages and finally the soup of the day. The food was tasty and good portion. The prices slightly higher than in Kamari but you have a great view to enjoy the sunset. Depending on the season you go you might need to reserve a table. We didnât and still got a table. We would like to return again.

Old cave-winery house converted in a restaurant with a roof terrace overwiew the tradicional village of Pyrgos. Relaxing place even during the very high season. Friendly staff and fresh home made food with a very good relation value for money.
The food here is expectional. 5 stars from us. We were looking for a romantic quite restaurant for our evening dinner and this place is perfect. Amazing food, great friendly service. One of the nicest dinners we had on the island. Thank you.

We shared a beautiful lunch here on a recent trip to Santorini. The food, surroundings and service were superb! The servings are large so shared starters are a great idea. There is also an air conditioned small function room if needed, but the restaurant is cool on a hot day with great views.Dear mrswilliamson,Thank you very much for your time reviewing Pyrgos restaurant. It really means a lot to us!We are looking forward to welcoming you in the future!

BOTARGO is a unique Restaurant & Bar set in the grandeur of a 18th century Mansion on top of Santorini, in the medieval fortress of Pyrgos, Kasteli. With its doors always wide open BOTARGO is an establishment with high aesthetics, true hospitality, Greek
We had an excellent experience here while on our honeymoon. We sat on the balcony and had a beautiful view. The food was delicious and the service was great. Each course came with a special olive oil pairing which was really interesting. The restaurant itself is incredibly romantic and quiet- it was such a special dinner. We definitely would go back!

The restaurant established in 2018 using traditional recipes of Santorini and all over the Greece . We cook the traditional recipes adding some modern flavours. Our restaurant is housed in old windmill. The name has its source from the wind, because in Py
You must sit on the terrace and watch the sun set over the roof tops. Slightly compromised by a fairly busy road junction, but very good food and affordable. Lovely staff. Pics tell a very glamourous story which isn't really the reality.

Restaurant Karma is situated in idyllic Santorini located on the pedestrian road of the traditional village of Oia behind the tower clock and offers the perfect setting for a romantic quiet dinner. The impressive decoration is combined with an innovative
Overall, this place has its charms but service is uneven (not rude, just forgot orders and slow). The chickpea stew is phenomenal and really memorable. I've never had more flavor in a vegetarian dish. The moussaka was completely forgettable on the other hand. It was served slightly lukewarm too. I wouldn't recommend it.The stewed vegetables wasn't very tasty either despite the menu description playing it up. I wouldn't recommend it.The "spaghetti" was good and an island specialty -- if you don't get it with meatballs or chili/parmessan then you're getting it the authentic way. It is a garlicly (light) noodle with some tomatoes. It was simplicity at its best.If you don't like cats, you shouldn't sit here cause they have a lot here they like to keep around.Wine by the glass is huge and a great value here.
