I've been here for lunch after having visited the Kasbah just behind the restaurant. It's a nice place, very clean and with a good view, the food is very good and there are some Menu that let you eat the traditional Moroccan food for a good price. The waiters are very polite (probably too much for not being a luxury restaurant, I was expecting something more "popular"), but the service is too slow: I've waited more then 50 minutes for a salad, leaving me few time to get back to Ouarzazate (which is one hour away by bus - the only way to get back to the city center if you don't have a private car or if you don't have the number of a taxi driver -, which means that the restaurant is not very well located).

Lors d'un périple en camping-car pendant le mois de mars 2014, nous sommes arrivés sur recommandation chez la famille JOUD. Accueillis par les tenanciers Mohamed et Meryem, nous avons commencés par un tour de la maison où nous avons été enchantés par la décoration de celle-ci. Mohamed, artiste dans l'âme a décoré avec goût toutes les pièces de la demeure, en collaboration avec son épouse Meryem. Il y a trois chambres d'hôtes à disposition, chacune meublée simplement mais avec beaucoup de sensibilité. Les toilettes ainsi que la salle d'eau sont situées dans un batiment jouxtant la maison, mais ce n'est pas dérangeant, dans le contexte de ce village. En appelant téléphoniquement Meryem dans l'après-midi, nous lui avons demandé de nous faire un couscous ainsi que des tajines pour le soir. Le repas fut délicieux et particulièrement copieux, servi dans la pièce servant de salon, illuminé par des bougies et diverses créations de Mohamed. Le lendemain, nous avons visité l'atelier du maître des lieux, qui est un artiste reconnu dans la région. Il fait des tableaux ainsi que diverses statues et mobiles en pierres. Tout ceci evidemment à des tarifs très abordables. Je vous recommande ce lieu pour la gentillesse et le naturel de la famille JOUD.

I was passing by yesterday, why not trying to eat here . It looks a good place, i said, then I entered. And turned to be a great location. The staff are nice and the service is good. So if you are on fine budget and want to try an international food in ouarzazate. I recommend this place.

Stopped here for what was expected to be a quick lunch. Service was so slow that we had little time to visit the market shops. Constant hounding by local vendors hawking all kinds of junk. Pizza was ok but nothing g speci.

This is the restaurant for the ecolodge. All the food here is natural and is delicious. Service is good, limited local wine list which offers good value. Much better than going all the way into town to eat

Pleasant experience in the Accord Majeur: food was pretty good, service friendly and warm welcoming. Nice cozy terrace, and charming decoration. The restaurant is located in a housing area and so not somewhere you would just stumble across, but it is 100% worth a little bit of effort to find. There is a parking area 50m from the restaurant, 20 dirhams and the guy keeps an eye on the car as well. Once you get into the restaurant it is simply stunning, absolutely amazing decor and interior design. Even if the food wasnât great (which it is) it would be worth going for the interior alone.Didier (the owner) made us feel very welcome and the food was outstanding.We both had the mixed cold starters with âsamosasâ which were like lovely veg spring rolls. All of the small dishes were excellent and plenty of it as well. My wife is vegetarian and this was all fine for her as well.Then the main courses were also v good. A basil and cheese tagliatelle for my wife (made to order) and the tastiest tagine yet for me.Superb restaurant, stylish, friendly and great food. For a location and food like this in the UK you would be paying at least 5 times as much. Definitely worth a visit

We tried Restaurant Overlix after not being able to find another restaurant in the same area. It was very quiet, which can sometimes be a bad sign, but the staff were friendly and helpful and the food was fabulous, presented in a classy fashion. Worth a visitwelcome
