Find out what Seafood restaurants to try in Soufriere. Soufriere's backdrop of the Pitons, sea and rainforest provides a picture perfect setting for a visit to this laid-back and relatively undeveloped town in the south of St. Lucia. Considering that its name is French for "sulphur," it should be no surprise to discover the wealth of hot springs and mineral baths. Other great spots to visit include Diamond Botanical Gardens, a slew of pretty beaches and the bike trails that wind through sugar plantation Anse Mamin. Rent a car to see the town.

We ate lunch here after a morning at the Anse Cochon beach. I had the roasted chicken with hibiscus sauce and my partner had the Niçoise salad with balsamic marinated tuna. Both were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive. A great place for a good lunch!

For lunch, we specifically asked Jamal to take us somewhere that we could get authentic local food and not a tourist destination. Jamal made arraignments to take us to a local restaurant called Captain Hooks in Soufriere and WOW, what great local creole food! The food was prepared when we arrived and the cost was $12 a person for basically all you can eat. There were to many sides to name that came with the creole fish/chicken, but each one was delicious and food that I have never tasted before.

Sample the planetâs best aged rums in this specialty St Lucia rum bar, designed with a chic white-and-charcoal palette, glowing white bar, and comfortable, oversized furniture. The Cane Bar also provides a professional ârummelierâ to aid in the selection
Between casual and upscale, this restaurant focuses on Sushi and similar items. We loved all of the things we tried, including sashimi, sushi, skewers and fried tempura vanilla ice cream. Nice drink options, too (I liked the "Lava Flow"). Not the quickest service, but Island Time is a thing all over St. Lucia.

Facing the harbour, a few buildings south of Mystic Man Tours
Run down, dingy, as informal as it gets. You cannot get within 4 blocks of this place without being ushered toward it by one or more of the local street faring residents. The food was island-authentic, and while perhaps not entirely my cup of tea, it was wonderful to spend time in a spot where the locals go, eating what the locals eat, and not being treated like a tourist.

This restaurant was recommended by the locals. It is fairly casual but all the food was excellent. Try the lamb curry if you like spicy food. You can look over the water from most of the tables. there is parking on site but driving in Soufriere is challenging so I recommend a taxi.

We visited Dasheene twice for dinner and once for lunch, on every visit we were greeted with a warm welcome and enjoyed magnificent, unparalleled views of both Gros and Petite Piton mountains. Sitting on a terrace overlooking these views is quite spectacular. The food for both lunch and dinner were delicious, at dinner the extra touches of an amuse bouche, sorbet pallet cleanser and home made bread with oils/butters make this restaurant stand out from others nearby. The cocktails are superb too, delcious fresh ingredients and the chocolatini is to die for!Friday nights entertainer, Arthur Allain, was brilliant and we enjoyed dancing on the terrace to his beautiful voice singing Ed Sheeran. (This was my favourite memory of our holiday in St Lucia.)We had the pleasure of meeting Christian, the owner of the property, he was keen to know if we had enjoyed our evening and offered to help us in any way to make our stay extra special. The relaxed, happy staff are a credit to Christian who encourages them to show their own personalities during dinner service, some singing along with Arthur, taking photos for customers and simply helping to create a great ambience. You really must make time to visit this restaurant during your stay at St Lucia, it's very special.

Enjoy Caribbean delicacies served at the water's edge during lunch and dinner at Bayside Restaurant in Sugar Beach, St. Lucia. Set on the white powder sands of one of the islandâs most beautiful beaches, just feet away from the crystal waters of Anse des
While hanging at the beach from Ladera, we ate lunch at the Bayside Bar. It's situated under a sea almond tree right on the beach, between the Pitons. Both visits we had a couple hurricanes. They were a perfect beach sip with passion fruit and pineapple. We ate jerk chicken skewers, shrimp, octopus and pork ribs during our lunches. The menu is primarily tapas and each serving was accompanied by a small green salad. It was a perfect amount for lunch. No need to leave the beach for a great meal at lunch time.

We stopped into the beach bar the other day. Martin, the bartender, made the most lovely mango/papaya/banana daiquiris. Besides looking beautiful in the martini glasses, they were so tasty. Martin is a great guy. So interesting to talk to. Everytime someone from the resort walked in he would introduce them to us. We were bummed that we had already eaten because the chef came in and showed us the menu. Well, we are planning to come back in a few weeks to celebrate my birthday and taste that lovely food. I cannot wait!!!

I mean..where do I start? We had considered staying at Jade Mountain, but ended up at Ladera. However, after dining at Jade Club and seeing the property, we will definitely come back and stay next time. We got the $95 pre-fixe menu. Some of the stand outs are the braised beef cheek, seafood ravioli, pâté, quail, and lamb chops. Everything from the presentation and service is . The architecture of the resort is very Jurassic Park meets West World. And did I mention the view? While Ladera is way closer to the Pitons, Jade Mountain in a way captures the view of the Pitons in a more majestic way. The view is to die for! It is worth every penny!
