I absolutely loved the rockefeller oysters from here. Ordered the taco pulpo de adobada and the octopus was cooked to perfection,so the salsa. Also, had a drink which was delicious. For dessert, had the carajillo nevado which was amazing.I def. returning here!
This place reopens after about 7 years. I like the concept of wine and dishes, more like tapas, just to chat for a while. There are also a few selection of main dishes, but I tried the tapas and here its what I liked:-Fondue con carne y verduras-Patatas bravas-Verduras asadas con dip de serrano y albahaca-Tabla de tacosI absolutely loved this dishes.Highly recommend it.The next dishes were missing something, and I wouldn't order it again:-Sashimi de atun-Tostatas de wonton-Pizza margueritaAlso, had the corte al chimichurri, and it was good, but I think there are other places to have a steak here in Sonora. So,in short, I have returned here for the terrace, good vibe, and I certainly will return for the dishes I liked. But they should concentrate in a small menu, rather than have other choices but not taking the attention they should.

Osteria is a casual Mediterranean restaurant. It was conceptualized and designed to be a friendly yet comfortable space to share the table with friends and family. Our chef and owner Sergio Howland creates and changes the menus constantly in order to refl
We came here on a friday night, and the place was full. They have a valet parking, and so as we approach the entrance, the hostess lead us to our table. As courtesy, the restaurant offers a delicious tomato bread. We ask for the wine list, and I think its a little bit expensive(cheapest wine $400 pesos aprox.),but they have good selections. We ordered plates for share,as we were a party of six.For appetizers, had the octupus, and the rissoto croquettes. For starters, had 2 pizzas: the margherita and the mais. For main dishes, had the tagliatelle. My favorites were the margherita pizza and the tagliatelle. Very unique flavor and nicely done dishes. The service was good and loved the lay out and decoration of the place. The only con for me,was the AC. I dont know if it wasn't working properly or maybe the AC wasn't large enough for the restaurant, but I felt the heat in there.Overall, I would love to return and try other dishes.

We came here on a sunday morning around 11:00 am.The place was very busy, but we did find a table, which was a little dirty. About 3-5 min the waiter came in and clean our table and made the drinks order. So I think the service its a little slow. The buffet its very nice! Its one of the best of Hermosillo. You've got plenty of choices. For beverages: coffee, tea, orange, grapefruit and carrot juice. Also green juice. For food: fruit station which includes granola, pecans, almonds, yogurth; cheeses, preserves, salami and baguettes; the choose-your-eggs station, with quesadillas, omelettes, eggs any style with a variety of toppings; the hot station with pozole, menudo, scrambled eggs, sausages, potatoes, chilaquiles(red and green),friend beans, tamales, chile poblano with cheese among others; toasts and pastries, and the waffle station with a variety of toppings too.I liked the quality and presentation of the food.I would return here.Muchas Gracias por sus comentarios! This is our second visit to Santo Olivo. Once on our first trip driving from Seattle to Puerto Villarta, now on our return trip four months later. Both visits get a Wow score. The atmosphere is simple elegance. The cocktail prep area and pizza oven are toward the rear, but plainly in view of patrons. There is a smattering of tasteful art to lend an air of sophistication. We speak English but only a little Spanish, so having an English menu version really helps. Even the service personnel can converse in varying amounts. With luck, Simon was our server this evening. Young, big smile, handsome and immediately likeable. I gambled on having a cosmopolitan martini and have to admit it was one of the best Iâve ever had anywhere. Also served was some fabulous herb buttered baguette bread. For dinner, I opted for the pork shank, which the menu said was cooked for 14 hours. On the plate was also mashed potatoes and sautéed zucchini and mushrooms. Oh my. Words cannot convey how good the pork shank was. So tender that the bone fell away from the meat. The dark red wine sauce was extraordinary. Also, the shank was so big, I couldnât eat all of it. Darn it. That meant I was forced to make a sandwich from the remaining shank and baguette. Best midnight snack money can buy. We travel a lot and visit lots of nice places which includes fantastic restaurants of all types. Hands down, this was the best dinner I can remember. Not the most fancy. Not the most elegant. Simply the best. Perfect. On our first visit, we had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with the owner, Arturo. A gentleman like no other. I feel it is because of him that this restaurant is such a treasure. Arturo was not present tonight, but yet the evening was perfect for us.One more thing - I felt guilty when I paid the bill. The prices were so low, it seemed unfair. They would be justified charging more, but thatâs their call. This is Trip Advisor, so Iâm advising you not to make the mistake of missing out on Santo Olivo when you are in Hermasillo. Thank you Santo Olivo. You made my day.Hi there! wow. I really don't know where to start. I think a thank would be good. This is the best review we had so far and let me tell you, it makes me feel very nice. We thank you also for taking the time to write and share your experience. I remember you guys perfectly, and Im glad to know you are back home, I hope your trip to Vallarta was perfect as well. Please next time you came, call me. 662 2260794. Simon Its a grate young man and he learn very fast. I'll let him know your comment with a recognition in front of all the staff. These kind of comments are what makes us wake up every morning and love what we do. Regarding the price, we think there is no reason to charge the clients more than what is fair for, of course taking care of the costs. Again Michael, thank you very much for such a review! love it. You make my day as well.

I'm here on business for a while and wanted to try places that locals would eat. I was hesitant when I saw an Italian restaurant so highly reviewed, but the previous reviews and photos of food hinted that this place would offer an incredible experience.I'm not a food critic and I have not travelled to Italy to sample what people consider authentic, but this chef has serious skills. He puts so much thought in everything he makes (pasta, antipasta, dessert, bread). He's so methodical and you can taste his passion through his food.I can't wait to come back and sample his genius again. When I leave Hermosillo, this is the place that will linger in my memories forever.Thank you chef.

"Swiss Haus" is a cousy restaurant. Is the right place to relax while enjoying fine food in a quiet environment. Proudly serves steaks, seafood, poultry, pasta, salads and home made pastry. 26 Years of delighting those who visit ua.
Had a really nice lunch here with friends. Great atmosphere and decor. We had chicken curry and our friends had fondue. We pretty much couldn't say no to dessert. Delicious! Suggestions: When you Order the fondue don't expect to get anything other than bread, and the curry chicken sauce is just a bit too sweet, but eatable. Great service, we enjoyed our meal here.
