Dear customers and friends, we are closed for research and renovations from 13th March 2018 - 6th May 2018
Nice mosiac floor in restaurant. Rather dark and dim to look at menu. Food made up for it. Friendly staff who try to speak English. Reasonable price for dishes. Food took a while to come as mentioned in the menu, good quality food takes time to prepare.

Was there on a sunday night and reached there around 8 pm. Felt like a dull place as there were hardly 3-4 people. Turns out I was there too early. As the time progressed crowd gathered & the live music managed to make the place a perfect one to have a blast. There were TVs playing football, basketball and some more stuff. Not into music, fret not. You still something to capture your attention.

Came here with the intention of getting a drink whilst out in Hat Yai. Unfortunately it's really quite a sad place once you get inside and totally lacking in atmosphere. I made a quick decision to exit and try the Homeless Bar instead, which was a much better choice.

after living in thailand over 3 years, it is nice to go to a 'farang' restaurant once in a while. yes, it is over-priced with the main target being westerners but the food is good and the atmosphere is even better.

The Pubb is one of the places to visit if you are in Hatyai. It is in the main road (Tamanoonwitty Road) about 500 metres from the railway station which can be easily seen down one end of the road.As you walk past in the evening the guitarist who stands outside always has a friendly smile or says something like "Happy, Happy" and gives you a thumbs up sign. There are several tables outside where you can eat and drink if you prefer the open air. Usually there are several" Puying Suay maak maak" (Very pretty ladies) outside attracting customers to come in.Beer there is slightly more expensive than other places nearby but the bands are very good. They have good singers too. Some people think the music is a bit too loud and prefer to sit outside instead. When I was there a couple of years ago they sometimes had customers smoking big pipes of shisha outside, and tall towers of beer.It is usually open late. If you meet the family who own the Pubb you will find they are very friendly and speak good English. Warning if you go in the mens toilets, there are sometimes massage guys who start to slap hot towels on your shoulders just when you are in the middle of using the urinal. Most European people get a shock when not expecting it. You can say "Mai ow khrap" which means "I don't want it thanks" and they will not bother you. There is food available but it's a bit more expensive than in other places. There is also a quite cheap but very good Chinese place with a fish tank nextdoor which also has outside tables. There is parking space for motorbikes outside the Pubb and the restaurant nextdoor. Sometimes if you are sitting outside a man with an elephant comes past in the evening and you can feed the elephant sugarcane for about 20 baht. The Pubb is very popular with Malaysians and Singaporean tourists.
