When this coffee shop and restaurant opened, it was very nice indeed. Located in a part of town and in the back of a noodle shop, where you would not expect to find this kind of restaurant, it offered delicious and beautifully prepared lunch/dinner dishes, coffee, cakes, and ice cream. My last trip there, we still had coffee but no cakes of any kind. I really have a sweet tooth with the coffee. :-( Other menu items haven't changed and hopefully they can re-add some of the cakes and torts they had in the past!

Just across from Parlang Bar, does not have a full bar but serves beer, a little cheaper than Parlang, does excellent pastries and desserts, Western and TRhai cooking.Airconditioned inside and an excellent outside under cover seating area.Recommended for families
I live in Songkhla City suburbs, so it's a handy beach to visit whenever I have a couple of spare hours. It's a conservative area, so I wear long-sleeved surfer shirts and pants over my swimsuit, and unless you have a hotel room on the beach, there are no free changing rooms, although a local can duck into one of the spare bathrooms seen on the bottom floor of most apartment buildings. I usually just ride my motorbike to the beach and ride it home without changing, letting my clothes dry on the way home. My extra clothes protect me from possible jellyfish stings, sunburn, and sand burn, if there are high waves. When there are no monsoon winds, the Gulf of Thailand is usually quiet, compared to the Andaman Sea, on the other side of the southern Thailand isthmus, and when the sea is rough, the waves break sharply, very close to shore, often right onto the beach, so it's not good for surfing. It is good for leisurely swimming and lying around on your back, looking at the clouds. There are many attractions nearby, so it's a good place to stop by after climbing Tang Kuan Hill, or visiting Song Thale Park to ride the ferry for free. Vendors sell boiled eggs, crackers and other treats on the beach, and you can fly a kite, play volleyball, paint ceramics, take a banana boat ride, or go wind surfing. Near the north end of the beach you can rent horses, have dinner on the beach, buy curios, or take a photo with the famous Gold Mermaid statue,
A great addition to Songkhla. Kleun Ngam uses traditional family recipes to create delicious and unusual dishes. The staff are terrific and the menu is constantly updated, so one visit isn't enough. I am going back just as soon as I can.
